Casa Positano

Awesome facilities and view. Exceptional !

Casa Positano is amazing. The location is superb and the views from the large decks are right out of a travel magazine. The building itself was very nice and apt very comfortable. The three bedrooms accommodated our family of five very well. Our family was extremely happy with this property. If you are coming to Positano, this property will not disappoint.

The location is fantastic and one of the strongest points of the property. Antonio was also very good with communication throughout our stay and was accommodating in allowing us to access the property earlier, which we really appreciated. The apartment itself has a lovely setting and we took great care of it during our stay.

Unfortunately, the way we were treated at the end of our stay completely changed our experience. After checkout, we received a message accusing us of “bad behavior” because a cupboard containing household supplies had been opened. At no point were we told that any cupboards were private or restricted, and there were no signs, labels or instructions telling guests not to open them. We did not take or damage anything. We only used a tea towel from the supplies to properly dry the kitchen cutlery. Despite this, we were made to feel as though we had done something dishonest. The interaction with the cleaning lady when collecting our luggage was also unnecessarily rude and accusatory, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We left the apartment in pristine condition: rubbish removed, used towels gathered together and everything treated with care. We even left useful basics such as salt, oil and soap behind. The property was also lacking some basic guest amenities; for example, there was no basic body wash and we had to source this ourselves. The air-conditioning also needs maintenance and a thorough clean, as there was a significant amount of dust. It was very disappointing to end an otherwise enjoyable stay by being accused of “bad behavior” over something that had never been communicated as prohibited. If cupboards are private or supplies are not intended for guests, this should be clearly stated or labelled rather than guests being blamed afterwards.
