The bed was comfortable. A/C worked well, but I could see that if it was much warmer outdoors, it would be too warm in the bedroom. It was nice to walk for meals.
The space wasn’t ready for us when we arrived. The photos are misleading. The laundry facilities are not in the bathroom you are renting, but down steep stairs in a dark basement area. Be sure to have quarters available. We just went to the local laundromat to avoid up/down many times as we had planned laundry at this stop in our trip.

Beautifully decorated, clean, well-appointed, spacious apartment in historic building, conveniently located to Custer State Park and surrounding area.
Guests should be aware that there are two flights of stairs to the apartment and that laundry facilities are on the premises but not in the apartment.

We liked the location. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We appreciated the cleanliness. The host was friendly and responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. Appreciated the TV and the wide variety of channels available.
We liked the architecture of the transom window above the entry door except it let in a large amount of light at night when we were trying to sleep. Another opportunity for improvement would be finding a way to circulate the air to the bedroom - it was a bit warm. Plus a bath mat to step on when getting out of shower would be great. We really did not have anything that was of major concern.
