Adorable 2-br guest suite minutes from SouthPark/Uptown

Everything was great and the location was perfect for our stay.

The host was very responsive and had great communication throughout our stay. The home is gorgeous, in a quiet neighborhood, and had generally all of the amenities we needed (minus a sharp knife) including coffee k-cups and water. My only caution is that the second bedroom is only accessible by going through the first main bedroom, which can be quite awkward depending on who you're staying with.

This property is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable for our weekend to stay. The amenities were top-notch.

We arrived and it was very dark. We didn’t know which deck to go to and almost tried to enter the host’s home. We quickly realized and found our door but there was no outside light on so we had to use our flashlight to find the lockbox etc,While the apartment is beautifully decorated there were some drawbacks that made our stay less than perfect. You could hear the owners upstairs the minute they woke up very early every morning. It made us wonder if they could hear us.Twice we came home to the very strong odor of the seafood they had cooked for their dinner. There is a staircase that leads to their residence with a door that you could see them walking by sometime. This did not feel comfortable to us. There were very tiny roaches that kept showing up in the bathroom sink, shower and out of the light switch cover. The windows had no dark shades so you were awakened by the sun too. My husband didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t control the thermostat and we realized you have to message the host if you wanted it adjusted. The hosts were very polite and accommodating so no complaints about them at all.I recommend VRBO provide a filter that lets you search for rentals that are not attached to the owners home.
