About this chalet rental
Comfort and adventure in the heart of nature, in a magnificent 110 m2 chalet completely refurbished in 2022, facing Mont Blanc in the heart of the La Plagne / Paradiski ski area (2nd largest area in the world). .
A rare property in La Plagne, in the middle of nature and 2 slides from the slopes, this chalet is accessible in winter on foot or on skis, in order to enjoy the joys of winter sports away from the crowds.
The accommodation
Chalet Mériers has ski-in and ski-out access reserved for good skiers, ideal for 8 or 10 people. It is composed of 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with double bed 160, 1 bedroom with twin beds 180, and 1 bedroom with 4 single beds). The large living room overlooks the bobsleigh track of La Roche and offers a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto a dining area with a large table and 10 chairs. The lounge area offers a view of the peaks without any vis-à-vis. In winter, you will appreciate the blazes in the wood stove (wood provided). A beautiful south-facing terrace in front of the front door of the kitchen allows you to have lunch in the sun.
Children - and adults - will be able to have fun in a play area, go sledding around the chalet (sleds available), and fully enjoy the joys of the snow in the mountains: igloos, snowballs, slides... in complete freedom!
Access in winter: the outdoor parking lot is located 800 metres from the chalet, which is about ten minutes from the chalet. Ski-in/out-ski access to the chalet is reserved for good skiers (3rd star all snow). To reach the La Roche chairlift, red slope at 200 metres accessible by groomed cross-country ski trail, or off-piste. Luggage transport provided on arrival and departure.

Many outdoor activities are offered in La Plagne and in the valley. The sunny terrace will welcome you for a well-deserved rest. You will arrive at the chalet by car, and a parking lot is available next door.

A lovely stay in a lovely chalet. Dominque and her husband were incredibly helpful from start to finish. The chalet was nicely built and away from 'the madding crowd'. Only a walk (or ski through trees) to get down the the Roche lift and easy ski back in. Well stocked with nice furniture and equipment and beds were comfortable. Only criticism was that the vrbo advert stated that it was a 1 min walk into La Plagne which is incorrect. Either ski down from the top of the Roche lift, catch a ski shuttle at the top of the chalet road (next to the luges start car park), or drive. By road it's about 10 min away. So whilst it was a little frustrating we ended up enjoying the peace and quiet and cooking in. Dominique and her husband were also there to meet us with their snow tractor which made easy work of our luggage. Make sure to stop for a food shop on the way as this can go in to the chalet at the same time on the tractor.
