Fron Dderw Caravan

Gwen the host was wonderful making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely fresh linen and towels. Caravan is in an idyllic location, off the beaten track but within easy drive of all tourist hotspots. It was amazingly peaceful and a haven for wildlife. Walking distance from the sea. The caravan itself is very 'retro' but is comfortable and has a decent shower, kitchen area, seating area and beds. I loved it. Gwen knows the caravan needs updating but was very honest about this and I think this is reflected in the competitive price for hiring the caravan. I didn't mind this and I think the photos give a very fair picture. Other potential hirers may want something more 'up to date' so check photos carefully.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

Gwen ist eine entzückende ältere Dame, die in ihrem fantastisch gepflegten Garten einen Caravan vermietet. Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar, das Frühstück im Garten ein Traum. Für einen Caravan sehr groß, insgesamt hatten wir mehr Platz als in so manchem Hotelzimmer. Auf einem Strauch vor dem Fenster hängen zwei Futterhäuschen, und es ist herrlich entspannend, den Meisen beim Essen zuzusehen. Immer wieder mal kommt auch eine von Gwens vier Katzen vorbei. Die Lage ist ein bisschen ab vom Schuss, genau, was wir wollten.

Uns hat es gut gefallen, weil wir genau das gesucht haben. Wer Ruhe will, ist hier genau richtig, wer Party machen möchte, nicht. Wer im Wohnzimmer Polka tanzen will, sollte ebenfalls woanders hin -- oder auf den Garten ausweichen.

Good space for us three. There's everything you need inside, kitchen, heating, tv, decent sized rooms, etc. Plenty of space outside too with beautiful garden. Gwen the owner is very lovely and we get to chat with her every now and then. There are bird feeders just outside the window and it is lovely to just sit on the sofa and watch the birds.

It is not very close to shops and the places we went to, but that is just because we had specific places we wanted to visit and they are all on the southern part of Anglesey and the caravan is in the north part.

“Wonderful Stay with a Lovely Host!” We had a fantastic stay at Gwen’s holiday home. She was a warm and welcoming host, even letting our children play with her friendly cat, which they absolutely loved! The house was comfortable, and the big, beautiful garden was perfect for relaxing and letting the kids run around. It was a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!
