Kanitsis House

We loved this place and will definitely come back again! It is very original, a traditional house with certain renovations to meet modern standards. We got to enjoy peaceful mornings with birds singing and yet we could get to Kathisma beach in only 8min by car! It was also convenient to go to Lefkada town, Milos, Kavalikefta, Agios Ioannis... Dimitri is the most loving host, his hospitality is beyond praise. He also offered us to stay one extra day and introduced us to his friends, we spent memorable time together and got to learn about their lives on the island. The moment we drove out the house yard our daughter asked: “do we have to wait for next summer vacation to come back here?”.

It was an absolutely exceptional accommodation. But not in the sense of luxury, this was no fancy accommodation. But because we were among great people to talk to and who helped us find beautiful places in Lefkada. And yet we had our privacy and our terrace. Highly recommended for open-minded people with a desire to explore Lefkada in peace and without tourists.
