About this house rental
If you've been dreaming of a fun and relaxing Outer Banks vacation, you need a little ‘Vitamin Sea’ in your life! This charming cottage between the highways offers a bubbly hot tub, easy access to local restaurants and attractions, along with serene ocean views. When you’re ready to hit the beach, enjoy a short 3-minute walk to the nearest public access (less than 300 feet away).
Outside, there is plenty of parking space in the long driveway which doubles as the perfect basketball court for shooting hoops. An enclosed outdoor shower and gas grill are available for your convenience along with a host of beach toys.
Inside the ground level, chill in the new game room featuring a sitting area around a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, microwave and mini-fridge for easy snacking, and a card table just waiting for you to challenge your friends to your favorite games! Make sure to shoot a few games on the pool table, guaranteed to provide hours of friendly competition with the ones you love! This large game room even features a twin sofa bed – just in case your little ones need a nap after all the fun. Also on the ground level, a queen bedroom and a bedroom with 2 bunk sets each contain TVs and share access to a full hall bath. A half-bath and laundry room complete the level.

This rental was everything and more. Could not have asked for a better place. The owner thought of everything to make it a wonderful stay. We definitely will be back.

So close to the beach, felt we were right on it, even though it is a short block to it. Rooms were great, lots of beach toys, clean home, lots of space, loved the hot tub. Owner was easy to work with and lots of communication and available if needed. Couldn't have found a more perfect place.

Paul is a nice host; we had a family emergency and he allowed us to shift the dates of our trip by a few days at the last minute. He was very responsive.
Overall we had a good time here with our friends and kids (all under 5). We were very close to beach access, maybe like a 5 walk, which was very convenient. There are beach chairs and some toys available at the house for use. Linens were provided in sealed bags at arrival. Trash bags were provided but it would have been great if the trash bags were places into the trash cans. It felt like we had to still get things ready around the house after a long drive to get there.
There is a bathtub although the stopper did not work very well. The hot tub was nice.
It was great to have both the front porch and back deck. The screened in porch was nice as well.
A safety note for families with small children: there are huge gaps under the benches of the deck that could be dangerous if they crawl down there. A child could fall through. During our stay we flipped the loose benches over on their side to block off the areas under the benches.
