Rockaway Beach Apt w/ Ocean Views: Steps to Shore

Attention was paid to details: nice towels and bedding, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, microwave popcorn, instant oatmeal, protein bars, throw blankets in the living room, was quiet except for the commercial laundry machines down below starting up at around 7:30 am.

It is misleading advertising to call it "beachfront" or "waterfront". It is NOT either of those. I asked four friends "What does beachfront mean?" and they all agreed with me. Those terms promise that the property actually fronts on the beach/water and that there are no structures between the property and the beach, and it does not deliver on that aspect. Between property and the beach is a large parking lot, a restaurant, and some houses. As a result, they BLOCK the ocean view to the south; we can see only to the north. They even block a view of Twin Rocks which is THE landmark of Rockaway. It would be like a "beachfront" property in Cannon Beach without a view of Haystack Rock, due to buildings blocking the view. Not cool.
