Apartman Marinac

The location was great, the room was clean, bed was comfortable. We also had most of the needed ammenities in the kitchen. The owner was also flexible with our check in time, as we arrived late. We liked the fact that there was AC and balcony. The view from the room was also amazing!

First of all, when we arrived, the water was not running for the night. The owner forgot to mention that. It was not their fault, as there were some working done in the village about the water. However, we would have appreciated if she would have mentioned that, so we would have more time to organize ourselves and take a shower. We arrived from the beach, salty and sandy with no possibilities to take a shower. Next day we had water, the problem was solved. Secondly, there was no wifi connection in the apartament/room. There was only wifi on the restaurant terrace, so big minus for the missing wifi. Also, the location was in a restaurant building, and as it was on a beach, it was very noisy from all the children and people eating downstairs, so don't expect a quiet morning. Lastly, the time for check out was until 10.00 am. At 9.00 am, the lady from housekeeping knocked hard on our door, telling us we have to leave immediately as she has to clean the room. We were getting ready at that point, we didn't plan on leaving later, but that's not polite and nobody should do that, as we still had one hour to be ready to leave. Regarding the price, it was too expensive for what they offered, especially service wise. We stayed in better accommodations near Dubrovnik, with wonderful owners who treated us with respect.
