This spacious home with a large outside deck is tucked away on a quiet lane in the Truman Annex, yet only a short walk to all attractions. Artist Garden makes an ideal vacation rental for those who like to enjoy a Duval crawl and a quiet peaceful vacation at the same time.

A bright and breezy 2 bedroom 2.5 bath private Key West house rental is located in the prestigious Admiral's Lane neighborhood of the Truman Annex. This property is within walking distance of all Old Town Key West has to offer along with the beautiful beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and the nightly festivities in Mallory Square.

Artist Garden is a delightful home with an open floor plan on the main level. A roomy kitchen with granite countertops opens into the dining and living areas. Bright colors and unique artwork give this home a wonderful flair. Off the living and dining area, two sets of French doors reveal a large private deck with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the fabulous Key West breezes. The patio is fenced and a perfect place to relax with friends and family, sip a margarita, enjoy a casual dinner and prepare for the evening entertainment.

Located on the second floor you will find two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a full bath en-suite. The guest room is located down the hall and has twin beds and access to the second bath just outside the room.

- This home is on a monthly pest control schedule. The area of Key West is home to many insects such as termites, no-see-ums, and mosquitos. Pest control can not eliminate these insects during the swarming season. You may also encounter geckos, lizards, iguanas, frogs, and chickens during your stay in the area.
- Key West is a resort island where renovation of existing historic properties, new construction, and road repair sometimes occur without forewarning. AvantStay is not liable for any guest inconveniences caused due to construction in the area.
- Please be aware that the locked-up bike belongs to the owner and is not available for guest use.
- Please note that max occupancy includes infants.
- Please be advised that documentation may be necessary for ESA/service animals to gain entry.
- Please note: The second-floor guest bathroom toilet is out of service and will remain locked. Guests will still have access to the ensuite master bathroom upstairs, the hall bathroom with shower and sink (no toilet), and a half bath downstairs. The property accommodates 4 guests and has 2 functioning toilets available.

Parking Details:
- One parking space per unit, no guest parking.
- No vehicle over 18’ long or 80” wide allowed.
- No large trucks, trailers, mobile homes, vans, campers or similar vehicles shall be parked in the Truman Annex.
- Motorcycles and scooters must be parked in the parking lot and not on sidewalks or porches.
- All vehicles parked within the community must either have a permanent parking sticker or a temporary parking pass (obtained at the Security Guardhouse).
- All others will be subject to ticketing and towing.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

We had a wonderful time at the home in Truman Annex. You can’t beat the location! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple dinners. Living room was comfortable. Short walk or bike ride to Zachary park, Truman park and Mallory Square. Sat by the little pool for a couple hours one day. Our only complaint is the grill grates were too rusty to use. They should be replaced. And the deck and furniture could be upgraded. Highly recommend!

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely, art filled home surrounded by lovely landscaping which created a nice privacy fence. Home was spotless & stocked with all the basics for cleaning and cooking (although I never really used the kitchen!) There is a dedicated parking space. The common pool is just steps away and was a friendly gathering spot in the afternoon. Home’s furniture is stylish & comfortable, beds are big & comfy & bathrooms were well appointed. Truman Little White House is around the corner. Downtown is a short walk, nice restaurants are close by and the Truman Annex Thursday Farmer’s Market & other special events are a 5 minute walk. We had our feet, a bicycle & a golf cart and could access anything in Key West. Also Key West Ubers are quick, not expensive & have very nice drivers. The management team, Avantstay, was wonderful, answered any question very quickly & even came to the house when we had a TV problem. Very nice group! We loved the little chicken family that visited every day & got used to the rooster! Very Key West. Picky negatives - patio furniture is not great but the space is wonderful. Uber drivers, grocery delivery folks had trouble finding the address. No fault of the owner of course & I reported it to Google Maps.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful week. The most sun filled living area. We loved all the artworks. Everything was in working order. We appreciated the location so close to everything’s done yet in a oasis of quiet. Took morning walks in all directions. Great for exploring. Highly recommend this vacation rental.
