We had a wonderful stay here when we visited the Hocking Hills area. The cottage was adorable, very clean, and in a great location to everything we wanted to see. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Sweet Nell's Cottage is in a great location!! close to attractions such as tubing and fishing. Nell's is beautiful inside and out and comes complete with all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend Sweet Nell's for a large family with kids and dogs because the property is so large!

Cottage was as described online. Check in and out were easy. Received a text the day we arrived to ask if anything was needed. We did not need anything but it was nice to have a number in case we did. Place was very clean and provided everything that you would expect to be in a rental and then some. There were k cups and creamer, which was nice. There were also plenty of games. We played jenga , uno and yatzy. I would definitely stay here again.

Sweet Nell’s was a great place to stay for the week during the winter. The gas fireplace was a nice touch especially in the cold winter, although the upstairs stays very warm most of the time each room having their own heat controlled base boards. Additionally, it was very nice to have a dishwasher, washer, and dryer…extremely convenient and easy for packing and unpacking from start to finish. The hot tub was awesome (an awning or some sort of coverage over it would be nicer when it is raining or any weather is coming down). One downside is that there were a lot of bugs that somehow entered the house before we got there and while we were there.

We just loved this little place. The only thing I wish I would have known is that there is no cell service at the property, so look up your check-in info BEFORE arrival. The location is so quiet and the yard so large we were not at all worried to let the dog and kids play freely. Very easy driving distance to all the HH trails we wanted to do. We would totally stay here again!

We wanted a cozy place to stay that offered land for our dog to roam, and that’s exactly what we found. Having easy access to all of the attractions in Hocking Hills was such a bonus; we didn’t have to go far to explore all of the beautiful trails. An early start on a full day of hiking with our pup, then back to an inviting hot tub, a nice dinner easily made with all the great features of the kitchen, then onto a wonderful fire under the stars. This stay was absolutely perfect! We hope to travel back to Hocking Hills next spring to see the falls in full force; we’d be so happy to stay here again. Thank you for adding to such a memorable weekend!

The cottage / yard was even better than the pictures! You can really tell the love and care thats put into everything. It was all so homey and comfortable you could really relax and just have fun. Our dog loved having the space to run and our kids were full of laughs all weekend. This was the perfect place to make some memories before our kids went back to school. We would LOVE to stay again!

The cottage was tucked away nicely in the hills. Very quiet and secluded on a scenic country road. Plenty of room for our dogs to run. My only complaint would be that the grill wasn’t working. Everything else was perfect! Plan on revisiting later in the Fall of 2023.

We enjoyed the place we stayed. It was what we hoped for. A quiet place to come back to after a day of exploring. Big yard for the dog to venture out into. Bird feeder right out the kitchen window to see Hummingbirds, Cardinals, Blue Jays etc. The inside appliances and conveniences were all updated and top of the line. For a small footprint of a house it suited the 4 of us well(plus big dog). It was relaxing to say the least

My son and I were looking for a extended weekend retreat that had ample private property for us to relax and to let our dog run without distractions. This cottage was perfect. It sits on a private property with a large cleared yard surrounded by trees. The cottage was very clean and had a welcoming feel. The kitchen is very nice and we had no issues preparing meals while we stayed. The fire pit has a grilling grate attachment and my son enjoyed cooking burgers over the open flame. The hot tub was also quite nice and felt good relaxing in after our day hikes in Hocking Hills. We had a great stay and would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property and setting are very beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub (very clean) and outdoor fire pit, there is also a nice outdoor grill. There were more than enough dishes, glasses, appliances, silverware, and “extras” in the kitchen, and plenty of towels! Very close to the many Hocking Hills popular hiking trails, we would stay here again and recommend to others. The owners are extremely nice.

The house was very comfortable for three friends... easy and beautiful drive to Logan or Hocking Hills State Park and we also went to Lake Hope State Park. Nice big clean kitchen. Nice clean hot tub right out the back door. We saw a deer, birds, chipmunks, squirrels at the bird feeder. Fireplace was nice and easy to use. Bathroom was clean and recently renovated. The large green TV was easy for streaming services. I would recommend.

My wife and I rented the cabin for 4 days to visit Hocking Hills and explore the area. We had a great time and the property was a perfect place to start and end each day.
