Casita de Catherine is a hidden Key West gem that sleeps 4 guests with a king bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. This single-level home has no stairs, making it perfect for travelers of any age. Enjoy island life like a local in this cozy cottage on a quiet street, complete with a welcoming outdoor space and private hot tub for laid-back entertaining.
The rear entry opens through French doors into a quaint interior with rich terracotta flooring through the kitchen and living areas. Rustic wooden cabinets are stocked with everything needed for a home-cooked meal, while the living room offers a comfortable sleeper sofa for additional guests. Just off the living room, behind a beautiful glass-paneled door, the inviting king-sized canopy bed provides a restful place to unwind.
Enjoy this private home of a local author, set on the island where writers write, roosters crow, and the sun shines. Located less than one block off Duval Street, near the famous La Te Da restaurant and bar, and just a few blocks from The Southernmost Point, Casita de Catherine offers a charming home base in the heart of Key West.

- There is a loft in the home that is not accessible to guests.
- To access the home, you enter the SHARED gate and path that leads past another rental (duplex) to your rental.
- This home also features a sleeper sofa.
- Any reservations 28 days or longer will require additional clean/cleans to be scheduled. Additional payment will be collected and the amount of cleans will depend on the length of your stay.
- All bookings 28 days or longer require a security deposit to be charged after booking.
- This home is on a monthly pest control schedule. The area of Key West is home to many insects such as termites, no-see-ums, and mosquitos. Pest control can not eliminate these insects during the swarming season. You may also encounter geckos, lizards, iguanas, frogs, and chickens during your stay in the area.
- Key West is a resort island where renovation of existing historic properties, new construction, and road repair sometimes occur without forewarning. AvantStay is not liable for any guest inconveniences caused due to construction in the area.
- Please note that max occupancy includes infants.
- Please be advised that documentation may be necessary for ESA/service animals to gain entry.
Pets:
- Only one dog up to 50LBS is allowed and is subject to an additional fee of $150. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- We LOVE pets, however- Certain breeds typically have to have an additional owner or HOA approval. If your pet falls under any typical breed restrictions (breed, size, weight) please let us know so that we can confirm!

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

The casita was perfect! Location was great, best amenities I’ve experienced, decor and layout plus the outside area gave us the best place to gather and celebrate several family birthdays over the course of the week! Would highly recommend this location and if go back to Key West, would love to stay again!

Our stay was amazing. We had a washer/dryer issue and our host and AvantStay were most accommodating. Our host actually did a load of laundry for us! There is a parking spot out front that is perfect for a golf cart, etc. The cottage is just perfect for 2. I loved the kitchen. It would be perfect to cook in ( I Didn’t) but you could. I can’t go on enough about AvantStay and the host!! Truly remarkable!! Thank you and we will be back.

On the Ad it said entire house. When we arriced the loft was off limits...I would not have reserved if the listing said loft not included, but it didnt, it said entire house. loft waa off limits.
