We absolutely loved our week at Chateau Coste! Waking up to the blissful sound of birds, and inhaling lavender in full bloom across the road, the chateau was the perfect escape from our busy life in Sydney, Australia. We were three families with eight children aged between two and nine. Days were spent riding bikes, swimming, exploring the garden, eating, drinking and playing card games outside. The local bakery was only a 5 minute bike ride into town - a morning croissant or pastry becoming part of our daily routine. The house, garden, and pool are absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of space, beds, kitchen items, eating areas, etc for a large group of people to have a relaxing vacation together. Camille was very responsive with all of our questions. Marie Noelle, the cool, made us a few delicious meals and was so sweet. I would highly recommend this home!

This chateau is simply amazing! Our extended family was 6 adults and 7 kids and we had plenty of room! The house grew on us and at the end of our week none of us wantes to leave! We visited in the height of the August heat and the pool was an absolute must! We were in and out constantly and it was so refreshing! The property is expansive and beautiful, from the trees and vines to the architecture of the house and buildings. The owners were very responsive and Daniel, the groundskeeper, was always happy with assistance when needed. It is ideally located close to Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape and Mount Ventoux. We can't recommend this property highly enough and will definitely be going back!

We can’t say enough about how marvellous our week in this beautiful house was. Everything was as described and Camille the owner could not have been more helpful in responding to questions before and during the holiday. The children loved the pool and as the house is definitely shabby chic, if still elegant, we didn’t have to worry unduly about the children. The house has everything that you could need for a wonderful stay. Marie Noelle cooked several meals for us and even our fussy children were impressed! Daniel was most helpful with any issues and cleaned the very well used pool. We’d love to go back to this authentic french family home.

I stayed for 15 days with friends, I can’t even explain how perfect this place is for a group of friends to spend time making dinners every night and sit on a long beautiful table outside and enjoy each other’s company. I am in awe of how beautiful the grounds are and the incredible house , old in the best Provençal way, fully stocked, comfortable beds, we were extremely happy. Daniel who takes care of the estate was wonderful and helpful.We are already planning to go back as soon as we all can!

The chateau is just as lovely as it looks in the photos, full of old world charm. Our family group of 14 adults, teenagers and younger children fitted the space perfectly and we particularly loved eating outside in the courtyard and playing volleyball, badminton and other games on the grass by the pool. It is an idyllic place to relax together, with the added bonus of being able to walk or cycle into Camaret easily to visit the Boulangerie in the morning or one of the town's bars in the evening.

Wonderful place

We stayed as a group of three families with children aged from 4-13. This is one of the best places we have stayed. The communication with Camille has been very quick and easy. The place is spotless, and beautiful. The garden has a brilliant layout which means the children can play independently but within sight/ sound. We catered for ourselves the first week and then Camille put us in touch with Marie who came for a couple of hours every day to help clean and cook delicious food for the children and us. She was absolutely wonderful and made the stay so relaxing. The gardens and pool were expertly and discretely looked after by Daniel who was extremely helpful and efficient. The pool is absolutely lovely. We are hoping to book again for next year.

Chateau Coste is ideally situated in Provence. It is only a short walk into Camaret sur Aigues ( or even shorter bicycle ride) to buy croissants for breakfast. It is only a short drive to the Chateauneuf du Pape vinyards, the water park and the pretty towns like Vaison-la-Romaine. There is plenty forchildren to do at the Chateau - a large swimming pool, a maze, where they can hunt for treasure, and table tennis for the older children. The Chateau itself has obviously been a well loved family home. We all enjoyed out holiday in Chateau Coste.

This was our second year at Chateau La Coste with friends and we all adore the place. Its shabby-chic charm means we're relaxed about treating the chateau like home. The pool is blissful and really big compared to many others. Life can't get much better than sitting in the shade of the trees with a beer, followed by a quick dip in the pool when it gets too hot. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked and ate in every night in the beautiful courtyard. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We were a group of Mom with a whole bunch of kids. It was spacious so every family had their own area. The kids loved the trampoline, swingset, bikes, and of course, the pool. Lots of space to run and play. It is close to a small town where you can walk or ride bikes to get necessities. We also rented cars to visit the surrounding area. We hired a chef to make dinners and she was awesome. Overall, I’d highly recommend. It’s just what you picture and estate in Provence to be.

We were at Chateau Coste for 10 days in June 2016. The house is great, rooms are very spacious and the garden and swimming pool are brilliantly kept. The one possible downside would be that the house is probably not cared for enough, at least not as well as the garden. Cracks in the wallpaper etc. but that's to be expected in an old house and it didn't bother us one bit. We were in France for the UEFA Euros but found out that the games were not all being shown on the open channels. One email to Alain, and within the hour he had purchased subscription to the channels showing all the games without charging us. So it's safe to say that the owner was very accommodating and whenever we needed anything it was taken care of without a hitch. The location is also great. In a very quiet little village but very close to a town of 30.000 people. A lot of very beautiful villages in the neighborhood (incl. L'Isle sur la Sorge and Roussillon which are both breathtaking). It is also very close to Chateauneuf-du-pape where you can buy the best red wines in the world at a very reasonable price. The kids also loved it; ping pong, swimming pool, bicycles, etc. and they loved our day tour to Splash World (water park). All in all we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to visit the house and the region again. Gunnar Geir, Iceland

We, 14 people, enjoyed this very special mansion and its surroundings and facilities in full. Due to the heatwave we stayed close to the lovely big pool with a shady garden in the daytime,. and sat in the courtyard till late evenings. Also made some trips to beautiful villages and towns close by, and spent one lovely day canoing under Pont Du Gard. We would have loved to stay longer.

I organised a bike trip with 5 friends and wives and we were looking for a place from where we could explore the region and most importantly the Ventoux. We departed at 8:00 on the big day, stopped at Bedoin for a coffee and spent the next two hours (more for some) climbing the giant. It was amazing. We rode back after a nice lunch in Malaucène and were so happy to take a dive in the pool. The ladies went to a nearby market and cooked us an amazing dinner. This place is just amazing, the outdoor dining area is great, the pool is great and the whole building is GORGEOUS. We're booking for next year.

After a good night' sleep we took our bikes and headed to the Ventoux via Bedoin where we stopped for a coffee. From there, we started the gruesome 2 hours (more for some...) ascension of the giant. This was just amazing. We then rode back home after a nice lunch in Malaucène. What a treat to take a dive in the pool!! While we were riding our wives went to the local provençal market and cooked a great dinner we enjoyed outdoor. This house is just superb, the surrounding is amazing, I felt like a French noble in my Rapha jersey... GReat outdoor dining area, great ppol, amazing garden to relax, the house is near all amenities and beautiful villages such as Seguret and only 30kms from the Bedoin which the ideal warmup. I LOVE IT SO MUCH I'M GOING BACK next year...

I was looking for a place to stay with friends and wives. We wanted something nice and not to far from the Ventoux, which was the main reason we chose the area. The house is just amazing, the outdoor dining area is great, the pool was the best thing ever after our 5 hour ride up and down the Ventoux. We enjoyed every single moment in the house. The house is close to all amenities including a supermarket and a nice provençal market. We also visited Seguret which is ranked amongst the most beautiful villages (10 minutes from the house) and had an amazing dinner in Vaisons La Romaine. We loved it so much that we're going back next year.

Het landhuis bood veel ruimte zowel binnen als buitenshuis. Binnen vele kamers waar het oude charmante Frankrijk te ervaren was. De keuken is wat gedateerd, maar schoon en goed werkend. Er was een enorme hoeveelheid aan bestek, glazen, borden, pannen, etc, meer dan voldoende voor de 13 personen die wij telden. Er waren 3 badkamers welke prima functioneerden, ook als 3 personen tegelijk onder de douche stonden. De slaapkamers waren van ruime afmetingen. In alle kamers was een staande ventilator aanwezig, welke optimaal gebruikt zijn. De bedden lagen comfortabel, evenals de ligbedden bij het zwembad. De stoelen bij de eettafel voldeden. Het zwembad was van ruime afmeting met een flink diep gedeelte. De mogelijkheid om te tafeltennissen en tafelvoetbal is erg prettig. Op de eerste verdieping was een zitkamer met uitstekende wifi verbinding, een eerste levensbehoefte voor puberkinderen. Zij hadden zo een eigen kamer om zich even in terug te trekken. Het grasveld naast het zwembad kan gebruikt worden voor badminton, volleybal of voetvolley. Er waren nu wel wespen, maar gedurende de hele week is niemand van ons gestoken door een wesp. Daniel kwam iedere dag langs om het zwembad te checken en was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De intermarche was ook op fietsafstand en als je net buiten het landgoed staat, kon je in de vertr de mont ventoux zien. Al met al hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad, een echte aanrader waarbij je niet op elkaars lip zit. Bedankt!!

Nous étions deux familles avec jeunes enfants + des amis sans enfants. La maison est superbe, le parc magnifique, l'emplacement très calme en bordure du village (intermarché, boulangerie, essence...). De très grandes chambres et salle de bains, tout le rez de chaussée en salle à manger, grande cuisine et salon. En plein novembre la maison était bien chauffée, déjeuners dehors dans la cour à l'abri du vent. Plein de balades autour de la maison (Séguret, les Dentelles de Montmirail, Chateauneuf du Pape... marche dans les champs de vignes et de lavande en partant de la maison à pied). Camille était très facilement joignable et Daniel nous a accueilli très chaleureusement. On reviendra!

La demeure a parfaitement correspondu à notre programme et restera pour nous un beau souvenir. Nous avons séjourné à 14 dans cette maison très bien équipée, les espaces extérieurs sont vastes et bien entretenues, les activités nombreuses (baby foot, table de ping pong, trampoling, filet de badminton, ...). La grande piscine est entretenue chaque matin par Daniel. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et très réactifs. Je recommande.

La propriété a le charme de l'ancien, est très spacieuse et très agréable. Même en plein hiver avec des températures très froides, nous étions bien chauffés. La communication avec les propriétaires a été très fluide. Nous avons eu recours aux services de Marie-Noëlle qui chaque jour préparait nos repas et le feu avec énormément de talent et de gentillesse. Nous avons fait chaque jour une nouvelle promenade dans de beaux paysages de vignobles et de montagnes. Tout était parfait !

Très belle bastide avec beaucoup de charme. La propriété est superbe particulièrement le parc. Les équipements de loisirs sont très variés et nombreux : Grands et petits n'ont pas eu le temps de s'ennuyer. On soulignera également la gentillesse du propriétaire ainsi que du régisseur et de la gouvernante.

Nous sommes 4 familles qui séjournent chaque année ensemble. Nous avons passé une semaine au Château Coste et nous avons été ravi. Tout simplement c'était, dans les mots de nos enfants, "un petit paradis". Non seulement les lieux sont magnifiques et sécurisés, mais l'échange avec le propriétaire était très aimable. Nous avons fait appel à Marie Noelle, la cuisinière, qui nous a préparé des bons petits plats, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de notre séjour (un grand merci à Marie Noelle!). On recommande vivement cette propriété, idéale pour un séjour familiale.

Grosses Landhaus mit Charme, guter Ausstattung und wunderschönen Umschwung Herrlicher Pool und viel Platz sowie auch gut Ausstattung zum Spielen unter den Bäumen. Auch für viele Gäste sehr gut geeignet mit der tollen Küchenausstattung und grössen Essräumen. Bei schönen Wetter kann auch eine Grossfamiiie auf dem schönen Vorplatz mit all den Tischen und Stühlen essen. Man ist für sich, aber rasch in Orange oder Avignon.
