Excelente lugar para descansar, y conectar con la naturaleza, la villa realmente encantandora,muy limpia,pulcra y comoda. 10/10. Gracias Ariel por las atenciones y excelente servicio.

It rained a lot while we were there I really wished they had cover jacuzzi area for cold rainy days

In theory location is great - just around a corner from 27 Charcos de Damajagua and on a huge country farm (but read below). However, I wouldn't stay there without a car - it is located in the middle of nothing. You have to use a car to get to a store or a restaurant. The man on ATV who gave us keys and showed us around is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is included, so - again in theory - you won't waste time and can drive to the waterfalls early. The farm has many animals you can see and you can walk through the gardens surrounding the villas.

TL;DR: don't stay here if you need quietness, hot water and the Internet or mobile coverage. We booked this property with expectations of staying in the countryside - peaceful and quiet. To our surprise, this hacienda was far from being peaceful and quiet - all because of the proximity to the main road. And everyone who has been to the DR knows what that means. A constant deafening noise from the motorcycles and retarded drivers playing music through concert-size loudspeakers. The noise reduces somewhat only after 10 pm, but never ends completely. On the first night we had no hot water. It was not ice cold, but far from even lukewarm temperature. When we complained, they came to fix it, did something to the heating mechanism and after that the water was lukewarm - still too cold for our daughter to wash her hair. They, however, called it "hot" and said it is now how it should have been. On the first night there was a heavy rain - I guess in such weather you should expect power outages - through the whole night the electricity was on for a couple of minutes, then off again. It meant we had no Internet connection, because the mobile signal is extremely weak. Even when WiFi works, the Internet is very unstable, so don't stay here if you need a network access. The villa has a tin roof, so when it's raining (and it's raining a lot in this part of the DR), the noise from the rain banging on the roof is VERY loud. The main bedroom has its own roof, so it is bearable, but our daughter, sleeping on a sofa in the living room, directly under the tin roof, had to sleep in her headphones. They claim they speak English on the Booking.com page, but that is not true. We wanted to leave early for the waterfalls, but they offered a breakfast only from 8 am. We agreed, thinking it would still be faster than to prepare our own breakfast. However, they were late and we got our breakfast only after 8:30.
