La Bella Vita - Immaculate Chalet with Hot Tub in the Sierras!

We had a five-star stay at La Bella Vita. The house itself is beautiful and well maintained & stocked. It is located in a gorgeous area of pinebrook. The hot tub is placed on the patio overlooking the forest and worked like a charm. Kids enjoyed kayaking at the lake which is a 3 min walk from the house. The lake is reserved for community residents and guests. Overall had a great experience and we will definitely try to visit again.

My wife, daughter (2 years old), mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and I stayed at this property from July 4-9. It was a record breaking weekend for heat so I made sure to rent a place with AC. The Good: The rooms were very clean, comfortable beds, nice furniture and decor. The master bedroom is HUGE, the bedroom next to the kitchen was the perfect size for two people, and upstairs could easily sleep 4. It is an absolutely beautiful property with lots of character. The Bad: When we arrived it was very hot outside. 101 degrees if I remember correctly. I opened the front door and was ecstatic to be met with cool air. I knew it was going to be really hot this week which is why I reserved a home with AC. I walked to the master bedroom and it was cold. Like, bundle up cold. It was going to be a great reprieve from the oppressive heat. Walking to the main A-frame portion of the house, it was a little warmer but still reasonable considering the outdoor temp. Then I walked upstairs to the bedroom where my wife, daughter, and I would be sleeping. It was easily 92 degrees. I contacted Cedar Creek Realty and they responded immediately, sending an AC tech. There were no vents installed upstairs for the AC so he could do nothing. My in-laws ended up attempting to tough it out up there but ended up leaving after 2 nights. They spent $1,332. The right thing to do would have been to provide a partial refund because it functioned as a 2 bedroom but the property owners didn't.
