My grandparents used to own this house over 25 years ago. My family was so happy to return to it for a small weekend reunion and see that the mountain charm was still intact. There is plenty of room to spread out with the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, even 2 kitchens and 2 living areas. The location is quiet and beautiful. My kids had so much fun playing with the toys in the loft area. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay here for our family’s New Years trip. The home was cozy and very accommodating; everything that we needed and more was there to make the stay enjoyable. The presence of God in this home was evident throughout the entire stay. We cooked big family meals each night and enjoyed time each evening by the cozy fireplace. The kids had plenty of room to play and had a blast playing many games of ping pong. We had so much fun at Highland Outpost snow tubing and hiking in the Black Mountain Trails; both being close driving distance. Steve and Marcy was so helpful and kind making sure we knew of the fun events taking place close by and making sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Last summer Houston was unbearably hot. My first goal was not to spend an entire summer here again. My son lives in Milton, Georgia, and he suggested the northern part of the state. I discovered this property on VRBO and booked it for a month! It was everything i was looking for and much more. Our entire family (12 ) was comfortably housed, and the cabin was filled with everything you could need. We spent incredible days with our family, golfing, fishing, and just plan bonding at the cabin. Best family vacation ever!

Spent 7 days here after a particularly brutal work project. The cabin was just a two hour drive from Atlanta and I’ll definitely be back.
This home away from home was perfect for what I needed: seclusion but with modern amenities like wi-fi (which was strong all over!), a fully equipped kitchen, easy parking, laundry and a comfortable bed.
I spent hours at the super cute Austrian-esque dining table working and couldn’t have picked a better place to do it with the stately working fireplace and vaulted ceilings as my backdrop (I may have sent a few jealous friends my WFH set up).
When I finished working I explored a nearby waterfall (5 min drive into Sky Valley), tried a few restaurants 20 min away in Clayton (Grapes & Beans and the matcha at White Birch were my faves), dug through antique shops in Dillard and even met friends who have a place in Cashiers midway in Highlands, NC which was perfect for dinner and catching up (Ruffed Grouse so good!).
The hosts were gracious and super responsive to any questions I had! Next time I’m bringing friends!
