Mal the owner of the B&B was very friendly and easy to get along with. The room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious, set me up nicely for the day ahead. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

Perfect host , very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him . We arrived late and he even sat and had a drink with us in the lounge .
Really homely . Very clean . Fresh flowers in our room and chocolates was a nice touch .Breakfast was perfect . Reasonable price .

Mal, the host, was exceptional - welcoming, interested in us, and couldn't do enough for us. His breakfasts and rooms were first class. We would recommend Hillcroft to anyone who wants a great place to stay.

I was welcomed & looked after like a family - pure Yorkshire. Started with best meal of the day. Excellent isn't a big enough word !
