I slept very well for the whole duration of my stay. Quiet and clean, plus spacious room. Totally love the balcony. Breakfast is simple but it worked for me. Can't complain

On arrival, check in was quick and efficient but we were given a key card that did not work. The reason given was that the battery had run out on the lock, but no attempt was made to replace the battery so we were given a manual key. I don't tend to watch TV while away but I like to put it on if there are any music channels to play in the background, however the batteries in the remote had also run out, I used the batteries from the aircon remote, only to find that out of a possible 99 channels, not a single one was tuned, or could be tuned after numerous attempts. The aircon is also in need of a service as it was not very cold at all. I booked a balcony room, but what was not mentioned was that there is what can be described as a communal balcony also that goes the length of our room and anybody could, and did walk past our room looking straight through the large window. Due to some clever camera angles the room was a lot smaller than it appears in the photos, and the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast could have been better explained. I sat down and although a member of staff was quick to give me a very basic menu, with just a choice of eggs, bacon or sausage, nothing else was said. When my food arrived I asked if I could have a coffee. It was only at this point that unknown to me and because of where I was sat, that I was told that tea, coffee and juice, was on a counter behind me, but also there was a selection of bread and other food, all of which appeared to have been sat in bowls for a lengthy time and was pretty cold. All of this should have been pointed out to me when I sat down.
