Acorn Cabin - Charming Place, Your getaway to Yosemite, Bass Lake

Cabin is good and cozy.

Locating it took some time since it is like an ADU behind the home the map takes you. Exterior cleaning was not done it seems. Lot of leaves and acorns. The door lock code was shared only around 3 PM via email. There is network connectivity issues in that area so we got the email a bit later. It says it can accommodate up to 6 but it has only 1 bathroom. We couldn’t find a heater in the master bedroom No coffee powder left to have a coffee.

De accommodatie was gezellig ingericht. Locatie fijn, dichtbij Yosemite.

Helaas moesten wij constateren dat de bedden niet waren verschoond en beslapen. Dat hebben we gemeld. De host reageerde vlot en stuurde iemand om het bed alsnog te verschonen. En de toegang tot het washok was niet geregeld (staat wel zo op booking). Dus ook daarvoor moesten wij een code opvragen die we alsnog hebben gekregen. Host reageerde wel vlot.

Ein sehr uriges und gemütliches Haus. Der Platz drum rum hat den Kindern (9 und 11) super gefallen, um zu spielen. Die Betten waren bequem und die Lage zum Yosemite Nationalpark ist wirklich sehr gut. Man sollte sich, bevor man anreist, bzw. auf dem Weg nochmal alle Infos zu der Hütte runterladen, da dort vor Ort kein Empfang ist. Wir mussten erst ein wenig den Berg rauf, um den Code für die Tür zu erhalten (hatten wir vorher nicht geschaut 😜).

The location was great for Bass Lake and Yosemite. The cabin was lovely, and we had special evenings cooking bar b ques and looking at the amazing stars. We made special family memories we will treasure forever. Thanks, Acorn Cabin - you are very special. Form the Lee Family in the UK
