The room was fine, beautiful lighting and warm for a cold town such as Standerton. The shower water pressure was fantastic and the drainage system was good. The host was kind enough to help us check in after nine because we arrived late.
There was no drinkable water in the room, the butler door was a bit hard to unlock. Even the inside door's lock gets a bit stuck. No hangers in the wardrobe, it would help to atleast have 1 or 2.

When we arrived at the guest house, our booking was not there, and it was fully booked, so there was no room available for my husband and I. Apparently, the person who runs the guest house's account here does not inform the staff of the bookings from the app, and so they only prepare for bookings made directly with the guest house.
However, on the plus side, they apologised and made an alternative booking for us at a different guest house not too far that was even nicer.
