"Apartment was very clean. Car was too big for the free parking but the host took us to a nearby carpark."

Location is good, like 20-30 min walk to centre etc. free, private parking, good kitchen, restaurants in neighbourhoods
Appartment needs a bit of maintenance, broken interphone, bathroom door swollen due to moisture from the shower. If you arrive by car, it can be a bit inconvenient to stop, unload your luggage, collect the keys and then park the car (the parking lot is across the street, not directly at the building). It involves a bit of back and forth, but the host is very helpful and does their best to coordinate everything.

The location was good and the apartment itself was generally comfortable. Once contacted, the owner resolved the internet issue quickly, which was appreciated.
Parking was very tricky, and the instructions for accessing and exiting the basement were unclear. The basement lights didn’t come on when parking in the allocated bay, which made it difficult to navigate. The bathroom door and frame were rotten from water damage, and the lock didn’t always work. None of the bedroom doors had locks, so privacy was limited. The television was old and not a smart TV, which was disappointing in 2026 as it didn’t support Netflix, YouTube, or other streaming apps.
