The location was absolutely gorgeous. I've stayed in numerous lodgings within Telluride and Mountain Village over the past 26 years. I have to say, this was one of the best. Backing up to the river trail with views of the mountains and gondola, and the front view of the northern mountains and happenings nearby. The lanai is a great place to sit outside and enjoy coffee (tea for me) or a bite to eat and hangout OR you can get the feeling of being outside with the same view from the sofa or dining table. I could see the snow capped mountains to the left, passers-by on the trail could be spied through the "fence" of bushes and you could hear the river. Ahhhh. Check-in information was sent via email and text. For me, it had been a very long travel day and white knuckle driving in the dark up to Telluride. Up for about 24 hours on arrival, I couldn't find the communication (my bad) so I called. Someone is there 24/7 to answer and help. They did. Parking super easy and convenient. I usually don't bring a car to town as you can walk everywhere, or take the Goose and/or gondola. The gondola is a must, at least once. Thank you!

The keyless, that was nice. However, the instructions were incorrectly written (with all the best intentions, I am sure). Upon trying to engage the lock while leaving, I repeatedly followed the instructions, but instead of locking, it was unlocking. The departing lock process was easier than indicated. You just push the button above the numeric keypad and it locks. The lock mechanism from the inside should be vertical if you're staying in, horizontal if you're going out. Simple! I notified the team at Avant and they are on it. Very helpful and responsive. Easy peasy! Regarding WiFi, it was weaker than I am used to, but I came to Telluride to enjoy the location and MountainFilm Festival, not stay online. It did what I wanted and needed it to do. Note: there is the possibility it was "operator error."
