The property itself was beautiful, clean, very spacious for a family of 18. The beach was only a 2 minute walk away. The amenities were lovely. The rooms were spacious and accommodating.
The first problem we had was upon arriving. The keypad to the front door was not working and we were trying to unlock it for 30 minutes or so. Avant- customer service didn’t answer the phone on the first 2 calls. We tried calling Avant Stay a 3rd time and was finally routed to a young lady who sounded like she was foreign. She gave us 7 different codes to try, none of them work and finally gave us access to the lock box which had a set of keys.
We had a private chef to cook us breakfast the next morning and all of the kitchen sockets went out because the breaker kept jumping.
The upstairs sink in the master suite was clogged severely and hair and debris floated in the sink for days.
The pool patio door never locked and that was a safety concern for us since we had little ones running about.
I tried to express these issues to Avant Stay but I could never get anyone on the phone. Thank goodness we didn’t have a MAJOR issue we needed them to address. Overall, it’s a very lovely house. Avant Stay which is the rental agency, doesn’t seem to be maintaining its upkeep.
