A hidden gem, really more of a small farm and I didn’t even know it had horses, chickens, gardens and even a lovely pool with pool house!
The only thing I didn’t like were the sheets but I am sure they would be fine for most people. I am just a sheet snob. The towels, however were thick and fluffy!

We absolutely LOVE The Birdnest Inn. Melinda is not just the host of this marvelous inn, she’s more like family to us now. We have stayed here multiple times for several reasons.
Melinda uses the BEST linens possible! So very comfortable. Sound machines, multiple outlets, chocolates for bedtime, basket of snacks and fresh cookies to greet us when we arrive. But best of all is the fabulous breakfast: Farm to table style…fresh eggs, homemade bread and jam (Melinda’s specialty) and fresh fruit.

The Inn is located about 10 minutes outside of Aiken which was ideal
An old property the rooms offered Victorian grandeur and were very comfy
No TV in the room
Melinda was lovely and cooked breakfast to order. One tip - please dont criticise your guests Country's cooking! It doesnt go down well. Suggesting UK food was bland when all American eat is fried, high in calaries and salt and is either burgers, versions of burgers, nachos, steaks and wings etc, I found quite rude, even if not done on purpose.
