Basement Apartment Varadero

Good value for money. Easy check-in, good bathroom facilities, TV with wide choice of programm, good kitchen. Quiet inside the house which is nice.

Maybe the heating could be a bit higher, otherwise all good.

We received a very warm welcome from our host and he was very helpful with showing us around the local area. The apartment is very well equipped and spacious.

Apartment is on the good location, it is easy to find and it is spacious.

The apartment wasn't clean. We found dirty cups in the dishwasher, carpets weren't cleaned. It looked like someone left it right before we come and they didn't have time or they have no need to clean it for us. The apartment is in the basement so if you are tall this is not the best option. Also, there is no isolation at all so you hear every single step from the upper apartment. On check in there wasn't the owner. She send us a son (he was young and very polite), but he didn't know the answers to most of our questions, when we told him the name of our apartment he even didn't know which apartment is that so he needed to call his mother (I didn't expect that he know everything - but at least some basic things or the owner could send us a message with the details). We needed to ask several times regarding check-in in her inbox to see how can we get the keys. All the answers were in the Norwegian language - she didn't even try to translate them to English.
