A konyha miatt választottuk, viszont a felszereltsége lehetne jobb is, hogy egy egyszerű vacsora elkészítése ne okozzon gondot (pl. serpenyők, különböző méretű edénykészlet stb.).

Great design, very clean, great location at the foot of the castle, easy to reach by foot. Good mattress. Kitchen OK, had Nespresso and coffee pods. Very good restaurant recommendations. The owner reached out after our issue with the check in and kindly apologized for the situation. Nice saunas available even though we didn't have time to try.

- House manual only in Hungarian. - Jacuzzi stopped working mid session (room fuse has blown I think). - Pillows (5€ Ikea model) - But mainly: this property uses online-only check-in handled by a third party ("Alfred by Previo"), and this is not disclosed in the listing. I only discovered this on arrival, when I realized the key code to enter the property is released only after completing the mandatory online check-in, which required uploading a photo of my ID/passport to this external service. I am fully aware that presenting a valid ID is required by Hungarian law, and I have no problem with that. What I object to is being forced, with no prior warning and no alternative offered, to transmit a high-resolution photo of my identity document to an unknown cloud service. The supervisor kept insisting on the phone "it's the same as showing your passport at a hotel reception," but it is not. When I book a hotel, I am actively choosing that establishment. I know its brand, I've read its reviews, and I'm implicitly accepting its data handling. Being suddenly redirected to a service I have never heard of and had no opportunity to evaluate before booking, is a completely different transaction. On top of that, a traditional hotel check-in captures structured data fields (name, document number, etc.), Hungarian law in fact forbids retaining the scanned image itself I discovered later researching this matter. Alfred may well comply with this, but nothing in the check-in flow made that clear to me, so from the guest's perspective you are simply uploading a full photograph of your passport to an unfamiliar cloud service and hoping for the best, that step alone is meaningfully different from handing your document to a clerk at a front desk. Guests deserve to know before booking, clearly and prominently in the listing itself that check-in can only be done online and that their ID will be uploaded to a third-party processor.
