Welcome to Away at the Bay! A new build, 4 bedroom house right on the Chesapeake Bay. Very family friendly, and in walking distance to a small community beach. Enjoy kayaking, biking, and crabbing on Kent Island right out of your front door. Perfect for multiple families (especially with younger kids), or working from home with a view! Speaking of the view - the sunsets! Every night is a dream view of a sunset right over the water - where can you get that on the east coast?! 15 minutes off the Bay Bridge and easy access to groceries stores, outlet shopping, and restaurants. Come stay with us and enjoy being "away at the bay!"

Truly a stress free vacation! I really appreciated all special touches that the hosts provided to their home.From fresh flowers to oyster shells tucked into the folded towels, our family felt appreciated and pampered as guests. The attention to detail was top notch, as was the accommodations. We were able to relax and reconnect, which is what this little vacation was all about. I especially enjoyed the early mornings with coffee, sitting around the kitchen table, watching the barges drift by. What a special place this host has created, well done!

The attention to detail in this property and from the owner absolutely blew me away! It’s just beautiful! We definitely hope to return during the summer months to enjoy all that the property has to offer. Don’t hesitate!

Celebrated our daughter’s wedding! Stayed an extra day to relax and enjoy the view!!
Away at the Bay was perfect! So clean, all necessities and then some!! Can tell the owners take great care to make sure you have the most enjoyable experience.

We had an absolutely great time at the property. We celebrated a 40th birthday party that Ryan pre-decorated for. The kids crabbed and fished their hearts out. It was a wonderful family experience! Looking forward to another chartered boat sunset cruise. We can't wait til next year !
