A beautiful one bedroom cottage very close to the gorgeous beach and quaint town of Herne Bay.. 2 steps to entrance.

Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Enclosed back garden with patio, sitting-out area and garden furniture. BBQ. 1 dog welcome. Electric vehicle charging point, at cost. A well-equipped kitchen complete with a Nespresso coffee machine. A dedicated Fast-Charge EV charging point (paid direct to the host), and a private outdoor seating and dining area to soak up the sun’s rays when you are not exploring the lovely area.
This is a great location for exploring the iconic city of Canterbury. The space This holiday space is a brick-built garden room which has been separated from the main house by fencing creating a completely self-contained area for two guests. The ample bedroom has a super king size bed. The bedroom has wardrobes with space to hang clothes and shelves. A separate wardrobe is home to an iron and ironing board and a dustpan and brush. There is a dressing table with a hairdryer and a light-up make-up mirror. A full-length mirror is also on the front of the wardrobe. A Smart TV on the wall opposite the bed for those days when you just want to chill out in bed is there for your enjoyment. Accessed from the bedroom via a sliding pocket door is the shower room. This has a shower, wash hand basin and WC. The mirror over the basin has lighting and there is a shaver socket on the wall. Subtle low-level spotlights allow the use of the WC without the need to put the main light on and the fan which is surprisingly quiet but could still be a disturbance in the night. The main room is both the kitchen and living space.
There are two external doors - the main door accessed via a smart lock using your smartphone and a rear door with access to the patio area. The kitchen has a built-in oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge with ice box. A lovely quartz worktop adds to the style. The kitchen has a Nespresso machine as well as the normal kettle and toaster along with cutlery crockery and cooking pans etc. The living space has a sofa and chair and smart TV, and there is also a dining table with 2 chairs. The outside patio area, perfect for taking in the evening rays of sun has both a table with chairs and parasol as well as a rattan corner sofa. There is a bike shed which can hold two bikes but also is home to the cushions from the corner sofa when not in use. Beach ½ mile. Pub and restaurant 350 yards.

The Den was a very well maintained property with everything that you would need. It was more than enough space for two adults and a dog with a lovely outdoor patio area. Lots of little extras were provided to add to the comfort. In less than ten mins walk we were on the coast with lovely walks off to the right hand side. We didn’t feel that Herne Bay itself had much to offer but the property was lovely and an excellent base.

The Den is a great accommodation in a quite location. Its a great place for being able to access the local things to see and further a field. Thete eas everything in the Den that we required for a great holiday.

Excellent stay offering all we needed except some good weather but thats not down to the proprty. Very comfortable bedroom and excellent shower. Living space whilst small was perfect for our needs and we were offered a number of excellent goodies to enjoy our stay. Would certainly stay again if we are in the are
