The house was beautiful, in a very central location, handy for everything. Lisa answered any queries we had and was easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time and could have stayed longer ( next time )!

There is only one thing that I think would have made our experience better and that is the addition of a separate toilet. As four pensioners a toilet outside of the bathroom would have been great.

The house is in a lovely location and within walking distance of everything. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you could want. There's a good choice of restaurants, bars and really nice boutiques.

Charming and comfortable apartment . We didn’t miss anything. Few minutes walk from the station, restaurants and cafes nearby. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly. We warmly recommend to rent this flat!

Family holiday to Malahide

The Village House is perfectly placed. Tucked away yet central to everything. The house itself is perfect with all the facilities you'd need and the coffee machine and capsules was a bonus! The Dart station is a minute away and parked the car for a week at a really cheap price. Bought the Leap Visitor Card which was excellent for going back and forth to Dublin.

A gem of a property, highly recommend

The property was immaculate, in a really nice area with convenient parking right on the street. The area was close to Malahide castle concert venue, the dart station so very easy access to the city and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.

Modern, comfortable house in the heart of Malahide. Lovely attention to detail and great hosts.

The host was fantastic when we had questions about our stay, very responsive. The house location is superb, though the street can be noisy early morning we had not problems at night. Inside the house is well decorated and comfortable, the beds are super comfortable and the shower large and powerful. There's a nice outdoor space at the rear - we we didn't have opportunity to take advantage of - and a smart TV in the living room. Everything Malahide has to offer is quite literally on the doorstep. When I return I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

The road could be quite noisy early morning. It was quite hot during our stay so we had the windows open. This would definitely have been lessoned if they were closed. Parking on the road isn't easy. We didn't have a car but it's a one way street lined with cars on both sides and even taxis found it hard to stop, on occasion.

Comfortable and convenient

The house has a large bedroom and bathroom on the first floor with two additional bedrooms on the second. As we were traveling with someone with low mobility, the house was perfectly situated. Everything was clean and comfortable, even with five adults. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. The kitchen was stocked for cooking to include some condiments and oils. The location is very central, we were able to find street parking without much difficulty.

A gem in the heart of the village

A gem in the heart of Malahide village. We are a family of 5 (3 young children) everything you could need is within an easy walk, shops, bars, restaurants, hairdresser. Take a walk along the water past the village and you will come upon The Greenery Bistro (10min walk), we had the most fabulous breakfast there and the dinner menu is delicious. The house itself has a fully equipped kitchen and the beds are extremely comfortable. The stove added extra comfort on the cold evenings but the house is lovely and cosy even without the fire. Lisa was great to deal with, self check in and out was seamless. We had a wonderful stay and we would definitely return.

The only bathroom is downstairs but this is very manageable.

What a beautiful house. From the decor to the location, comfort and amenities… nothing to fault it at all. Absolutely perfect!

The on street parking can be an issue but this is true to the whole area of malahide. Unless you need a car for further travelling, you won’t need one to stay in malahide as beside the train station and everything is almost literally on your doorstep!

Superb

Location was great and very easy to find from the station. Interior has been very well thought out and was perfect for our get away. Was really nice to sit out in the courtyard for dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay. Local shops and bars are literally moments away and a great scenic walk along the beach.

Did need to top the toilet paper and get some washing up liquid (don't always need to use the dishwasher) and could have done with a bread knife but these are just tiny issues which we were happy to get. House was really lovely and had pretty much all the basic needs in a home.

The decor was lovely and the location was good.

No instructions of how to operate appliances, no instructions for separating garbage, the instructions for gaining access were only sent 24 hours before, we were traveling, did not always have Wi-Fi, so we only got them once we entered the house and accessed the Wi-Fi. As a result, when we arrived, all we had was the address and a phone number. After a bit, the owner did return our call, so we were able to get in. Warning: no shampoo, no soap, not even dish detergent ( although laundry detergent was supplied).

The apartment is great for a short or long stay, surrounded by nice restaurants and some authentic shops (butcher, fishshop, up level supermarket) and a few minutes walk from the seafront. Very quiet during the night and just a 25min train ride from Dublin city.

A little gem of a property - just loved our stay here!

We just loved this townhouse in the heart of Malahide. It's in an ideal location - open the front door and you are in the heart of the village in 2 mins! The house was immaculate, spotlessly clean. There is a very modern vibe to the house but at the same time the small rooms and spaces give it an intimate feel. The bedrooms were particulary comfortable, gorgeous pillows and quilts on the beds which made for a great sleep. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and stayed in contact with us over our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. This was very much appreciated.

Sehr modernes Townhouse, perfekte Lage.

Schön modern ausgestattet. Zentral gelegen zu den Restaurants, Bars und dem Bahnhof. Es gab 2 DZ und ein EZ, Küche, WZ, Bad, Waschmaschine mit Trockner und eine kleine Terrasse. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett. Uns hat es super gut gefallen.

Von den 2 Zimmern mit Doppelbett ist eines mit einem sehr kleinen Doppelbett ausgestattet. In diesem Schlafzimmer fehlt ein dichter Rollladen. Das Licht der vorbeifahrenden Autos stört. Für 3 Nächte war es okay.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war wirklich gehoben. Für irische Verhältnisse wirklich erstklassig! Die Lage ist perfekt! Alles was man braucht ist in direkter Nähe! Die wichtigsten Dinge zum Kochen (Gewürze, Mehl, Soßen etc) sind vorhanden. Kaffeekapseln verschiedener Sorten ebenfalls da. Lisa ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin! Sehr freundlich und fragt nach, ob alles in Ordnung ist! 👍🫶

„Nicht gefallen“ ist übertrieben aber das Bad ist sehr klein. Mit zwei Kindern eine Herausforderung. Das sollte man bedenken. Es sieht auf den Bildern größer aus.
