Hidden Oasis in Victoria, BC

We found the location ideal for getting around Victoria, it was in a very nice area with beautiful homes. It was easy to locate.

The tub needed grab bars for getting into and out of.

Spacious with every convenience - even a pool!

Nothing - it was all good.

Fab chilled outdoor space - really great outdoor cooking area and sunbeds etc and kids loved the pool. Well equipped and really nice that there were all the essentials in the cupboards like oil salt pepper coffee etc. We messed up our check out time and the owners were really understanding thank you. Just a short drive to Victoria and the ferry and nice local store “red barn”.

The outdoor space could have been cleaner - it was fine for us - chill and used is okay it had a great relaxed vibe - but if are fussy about things being squeaky clean this wouldn’t be the place for you.

It was spacious. It had a pool and laundry.

The pool was very dirty, covered in algae on the bottom. No rails at pool steps to get in and out. The place appeared clean but a closer look and there is pink bacteria around bathroom taps. While fridge and freezer had basic condiments, they also had remnants of old food. There was a feeling of low grade clutter all around. The bed by the washroom had quarter inch thick slats with a piece of plywood that made heavy cracking noises with one large adult on it. It was a rock hard mattress. The other bedroom by the kitchen was a better mattress setup; however at 11 pm you could loudly hear voices from up above... followed by someone outside the window smoking a Marijuana joint that backdated into the room. We'd not stay again for that reason alone. No one wants a room full of smoke when they are trying to sleep. We were in a hurry to move on.
