Quaint 1 bedroom lower suite in Victoria, BC

The low ceilings

Having a separate bedroom and a living area is much more relaxing than a standard hotel room, especially if you want to unwind after a day of exploring the Inner Harbour

While the suite is quaint, the ceiling height is quite low. As someone who is 6 feet tall, I could easily touch the ceiling with very little movement. Taller guests should be aware of the limited clearance.

It’s nice quiet space

The roof is so down.

We liked the location of the bus stop to downtown from the property. This was really good and easy to find. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean and tidy. Having a laundry facility with detergent available was a great help to us. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed.

When we booked the property we understood that there was a family upstairs and there might be some noise before the children went to bed. BUT.... we were not aware that there would be considerable conversational noise through the interconnecting door. It was loud enough at times that we found it difficult to listen to the television at normal volume. It sounded like there was more than just a family there having a meal together. The people upstairs seemed to get up at 5.30 am and as a result woke us.
