About Us

Our goal is to make the joy of slowing down and connecting accessible to all. Much of our free time is spent with our hands in the dirt. We raise a diverse variety of animals and produce to provide for ourselves and our community. We have a variety of goods available throughout the year - so please let us know if you would be interested in our eggs, garlic, squash, or meats to enjoy here or take home!

We have two wonderful dogs, Bodhi and Chaco. You might also see one of our three cats roaming around during your stay. All of our fur-friends are friendly, sociable, and very loving.

What’s Nearby

There's a million reasons we've chosen this area to call home. Spend your time just being, or explore the many farms, restaurants, galleries, shops, and activities Southern Vermont has to offer.

We’re located 5 miles from downtown Putney where you’ll find Next Stage Arts, Yellow Barn International Music Center, and the Sandglass Theater. We also have a great food co-op, general store, and a few restaurants.

If you’re looking for a hike with a great view, it’s absolutely worth checking out Putney Mountain and The Pinnacle. Easily hiked in a couple of hours or less.

We’re 17 miles from Brattleboro - where you’ll find a larger variety of restaurants and local shops. We’re also blessed with a year-round farmers market - which is not to be missed!

We’re passionate about good quality food and supporting our local farmers and businesses. We would love the opportunity to recommend some of our favorite spots.

Incredibly cozy cabin, with all the essentials for a weekend away from it all. Fire pit outside, wood stove inside for all your fire watching needs, plus a heater in case you don't like that sort of thing. The hot tub was very clean, and even more relaxing, and inside the shower is hot and high pressured. The host was very helpful, helping me recover my phone when, by a great stoke of bad luck, it fell through one of the floor boards. Conviently located near lots of great hiking, but a beautiful location you don't have to leave for great views. Highly recommended.

Smooth process ! Cute, small cabin for an intimate getaway. WiFi worked well. Barbecue worked well. Hot tub worked well. Nicholas was a very good host and communicated very well. The cabin offers a lot of privacy. If you plan on bringing food to cook/ keep in fridge, I would recommend bringing a cooler with ice as the refrigerator is a small mini fridge. Very enjoyable few days !

Property very much as advertised. If you read reviews, there are window coverings that face the owners house, but it's not like you're on top of them. A lot of space separates you.Wood stove is great.Hot tub is on the back of cabin facing the woods.Steps are steep to get to the second floor, but easy to navigate. If you have a larger pup, they wont be able to get up there. My husband is already trying to plan when we go back.Very cute place, a few restaurants locally, but very quiet area to unwind.Would definitely go back. Great stay, thank you!the woods.

Off the beaten path, this cabin offered a cool and quiet respite from the summer heat. Lovely wooded trails to hike, a hot tub to relax in at night, well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed with a bay window to catch the first morning light. We were traveling with our dog and were pleased to find a place that was pet friendly. We look forward to visiting again
