About this house rental
Welcome to Casa Cassaretto, a stunning lakefront home located just 50 yards from Marina Beach in the gated Pine Mountain Lake resort community. This spacious retreat features its own private boat dock, direct lake access, and a variety of amenities, including a hot tub, game room, and home theater. Guests can also enjoy access to Pine Mountain Lake’s golf course, tennis courts, community pool, archery range, and Country Club dining.

This three-level, 4,000-square-foot home offers five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, including two master suites and an open loft with two twin beds (counted as a bedroom).
The home includes a theater room, a Bluetooth-connected sound system (usage instructions are posted on the whiteboard), a DVD player, and WiFi available throughout the house and deck.
For year-round comfort, the home is equipped with central heating and air conditioning, a gas log fireplace, and ceiling fans. The kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, disposal, coffee maker, tea kettle, and toaster. Additional conveniences include a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and hair blow dryer. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers are provided.
The game room features a mini fridge, pool table, dart board, shuffleboard, board games, and a wet bar. There is also a basement storage room with an extra refrigerator (exterior access only) and an outdoor shower.
The outdoor space includes a sun deck, covered patio, deck furniture for 15 people, and a propane gas BBQ. Propane not included—tank available to be refilled at local market).
Guests have access to a private dock, along with a rowboat, hybrid kayak-canoe, two-person kayak, and two Wavestorm stand-up paddleboards with paddles. Additional water accessories in the Boat Room include floaties, buckets and shovels, noodles, and a floating mat. Guests must wear life jackets when using the boats, and swimming from the dock is limited to 30 feet out, per Pine Mountain Lake safety regulations.

My friends and I absolutely loved this property. It's beautiful, in a fantastic location, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. We had such a memorable trip and would absolutely recommend staying here.The only reason I'm not giving a perfect review is because of the host communication. I reached out about the possibility of an early check-in months in advance and followed up 5–7 times, but unfortunately never received a response.Additionally, when we arrived, the hot tub was bright green and clearly hadn't been maintained. We ended up cleaning it ourselves and running the jets until it was usable, but it was disappointing to arrive to that after looking forward to using it.Overall, the property itself was wonderful, and with a little more attention to communication and maintenance, the experience would have been exceptional.

We were so pleased with this property. The rooms were nice and spacious, the kitchen was well stocked (both a Keurig and a traditional coffee maker, in case that's helpful for planning), and the deck was a great place to hang out while the teens fished, paddled, and floated around the dock. The location was wonderful too: private enough, and close to the public beach without feeling like it was in the backyard. They had lots of floaty toys available and SUP permits out for us to use, and they were responsive to the minor issues that came up during our trip.My only notes to remember for next time: there were no beach towels for guest use, so bring your own. And the number of bath towels matched the number of guests, which wouldn't have been an issue at all if the teenagers hadn't gone through multiple on the first day!

Great house. Fully equipped with fun lake toys, a hot tub and game room. We were a little disappointed upon arrival. The house was not very clean and we had to rewash almost every pot and pan. Lights were burnt out all over, especially the upstairs master bathroom which makes it kind of dangerous to use the restroom at night. Wish there was one more television. While kids are playing in the game room - it’s the same room as “home theater” so there was no where for someone else to watch a show and relax after a long day in the sun. A great location and really enjoyed the dock.

This should have been an easy 5+ rating. Beautiful house in a spectacular location. Unfortunately the listed number of beds/bedrooms doesn't match reality.
The house is listed as "5 bedrooms, 8 beds , sleeps 15"
In fact the house has 4 bedrooms + loft, only has 6 beds (not the listed eight) and sleeps a max of 10. This was a big problem for our party of 13. For the first 2 nights, 3 of our party had to sleep on the floor - we then went and got an inflatable queen bed for them to share. Not what you expect when paying top dollar for a rental :(
The response from the rental company was not any help either - they correctly pointed out that if you expand (it's not visible by default) the "Details" section in the listing it states: "Sleeps upto 10 in beds.", and also lists only 6 beds.
So why does the VRBO listing state it has 8 beds? And why does the VRBO listing describe 5 bedrooms + loft when in fact there are only 4 bedrooms + loft?
The only remedy offered by the rental agency was "write a review", so here it is.
Renter beware :(
