SOLANA Fuengirola 16 17

Apartment is quite recently renovated and still in good condition. Location is great, only few hundred meters from beach. Pool area was pretty good as well. Owner replied really fast, and even arranged later check out for us, which was highly appreciated due to evening flight with a child. Balcony with dining table and benches was great with view to the sea. Lots of restaurants and cafes, playground and basically everything we needed was next to apartment.

Two single beds is a bit inconvenient but luckily it was possible to move the beds together. No complains about the apartment, everything what we needed was there. Only complain is about the old building, air doesn't feel really fresh. Airco worked okay but still air was stuffy, and I wouldn't stay here longer than 1 week. We also saw one cockroach at the door which was not too surprising as it is still Spain. Pool area was good but would need a bit of renovation.

Always sunbeds free around the pool, very central, staff were responsive and place was spotless.

The apartment was of a very high standard, very clean and the location perfect. We were met on arrival (even though we arrived late) and given an excellent overview of the property.

some items didn’t work (eg toaster) initially tv, many faulty plug sockets and noisy washing machine. But most of all it was much more costly than other apartments we had seen and we only booked it based on a heated swimming pool that is open all year round. As a note we now understand that if you book through a third party they cannot compensate for any failure of the main facilities. Next time we will book direct with the hotel and should then be informed of any pending repairs and compensated.
