Villa Canova

Peaceful location with beautiful surroundings, a short walk/drive to 5 restaurants/cafes and a supermarket. Also a perfect location to explore the north of the island and drive to places such as FiSkardo, Mytros beach and Assos. The villa itself was very clean and decorated nicely- the kitchen was well equipped, each room had a balcony, there were 2 outdoor seating areas, the pool was a great size, there were 6 sun beds and pool towels were provided. There was plenty of space to park our 2 rental cars on the driveway. A cleaner came to clean and replace our shower towels half way through our 8 night stay. We also enjoyed watching the sheep in the surrounding fields! A wonderful villa that we would love to stay at again and would happily recommend!

We couldn't find a safe/lockbox anywhere, there was only one working air conditioning remote between all the rooms, and more toilet roll could have been provided. None of this really mattered though and overall everything was great!

Villa Canova was a fantastic place to stay, really stylish and functional, we found the villa to be spotlessly clean and the beds/pillows were so comfortable. We spent many hours in the pool and loved the peace and surrounding countryside. It was a perfect base for us exploring the north of the island: be sure to visit the Taverna next door and watch the sunset!

Despite being advertised as having a Safe box there wasn’t one.

Lovely seawater pool, amazing terrace. Nice decor in a great location. Friendly and helpful local staff on the ground. Comfortable beds.

Central admin in the UK were rude and unhelpful. Essential items missing upon arrival such as the baby bed and kitchen basics. Sad that there was no gate to the pool or shade which would have improved the child friendliness of the property a lot. No special personal touches that would have made this a gem. Couch broken (had a hole…?)

The villa and surroundings are exactly as seen in the photos and even exceeded the high expectations we had going before arriving there.
