Location was spot on for us being so close to real club Padel gym which we use daily and only a 5-8 min drive to the port!

A toaster for convenience as we do a lot of cooking this was the only thing missing

We had a lovely stay at Apartamento Lorcrimar Banús. The apartment was spacious, and the garden area was huge and a real sun trap. The master bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and large fitted wardrobes, while the second bedroom also had plenty of wardrobe space and a comfortable double bed, with another large bathroom opposite. The beds were very comfortable, with lovely duvets. The location was great - around a 6-minute drive to the centre of Puerto Banús, or about a 20-minute walk if you prefer to walk. We hired a car, and there was plenty of street parking right outside the apartment entrance, which was really convenient. The apartment was well equipped, with two powerful hairdryers, as well as an iron and ironing board. The sofa was huge and comfortable enough that one or even two people could easily sleep on it if needed. The hosts were extremely quick to reply and very helpful throughout our stay. Access involved using two different codes to collect the keys, but the locations were only about a 20-second walk apart and actually made us feel more secure. The apartment was very quiet at night, and during the day the only noise was occasionally from lawn mowers, which wasn’t unpleasant at all. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

The apartment could do with a little maintenance in a few areas, such as one of the curtain rails needing attention. The main bathroom occasionally had a slight drainage smell, which wasn’t ideal, although it didn’t impact our overall stay and seemed to disappear once the shower was running. There was some body wash left in the apartment, which we assumed had been left by previous guests, but it may be worth bringing your own toiletries as these may not normally be provided. The outdoor space was huge and perfect for relaxing in the sun. The sunbeds were a little worn, but there was plenty of other comfortable seating available.

Pillows could be more comfortable

This property is very well situated and I have stayed at Locrimar 5 many times over the last 10-15 years. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience until now. The issue was not with the location nor any of the facilities outside of the apartment. The exterior such as the pool and gates etc are all well kept.

Very disappointed. From day one there was a bad smell in the property that no matter how much we attempted to air it out it was there until our last day. The oven also did not work, which we unfortunately didn’t find out about until after we had done a food shop and spent €130 of food for the week we could not cook. There was also a broken lamp in the bedroom which tbh I didn’t think much more of due to the following. We highlighted this to the management in a polite fashion, with no response to two messages until the day before we were due to leave. I refrained from taking to online platforms and complaining as being in business myself I felt it unnecessary to damage a business online. That was until the rental company decided to charge us €150 for the broken lamp shade that we had nothing to do with, two weeks AFTER we left and had arrived home. To be clear we are a small family of three, not party goers. I have insisted with the rental company known as Marbs Vacation Agency that this was not from us and that they should immediately return our money as we left over two weeks ago. This is no longer about the money, this has now become principal. They have further responded insulating that we are dirty people and the property was not left clean, even though my partner had ensured the place was left with only sheets to be cleaned and floors and counters to be given a once over, which we paid for, and trying to turn this back on us rather than just doing their jobs properly. To say I am dissatisfied and disappointed is an understatement. I’d advise anyone booking into Locrimar to do so, but to avoid THIS company (Marbs Vacation Agency) offering any letting at all costs. I can assure you from experience that they will not resolve them in a timely fashion and do not seem to care about taking money out of your account after you leave for things you have not done.
