Clean, reasonably quiet at night, comfortable.

No laundry, no bike parking. They did however give me a wheelchair-friendly room to make it easier to keep the bike inside, which I found spacious.

My room was near the office & entrance so it was a bit noisy with the guests coming and going, but it quieted down later in the evening.

Not resort quality but very adequate for my use.

Breakfast was substandard continental fare. Coffee had grounds in it. My room was handicap equipped which provides a nice walk in shower. There is an elevator to upper floors. Location was perfect for getting anywhere in San Diego area.

How clean the rooms were and the somewhat friendly staff.

The breakfast room was dirty and full of nats, the elevator kept skipping (hasn't been evaluated since 2023), the rooms trimming was coming off and cause my son to trip down the stair in our room. It was more of a hassle to make sure my kids wouldn't get hurt than to relax.

Good value for short stay!!

Comfy beds and location is near the concert we attended.

We did have an issue upon checking into the first room so we did move rooms. The breakfast was just the bare minimum, cereal, juice, coffee, yogurt, and bananas. The location was right next to freeway and kind of sketchy. It’s good enough for the short time we spent in the room, for the $$ we paid.

Small parking lot, the room smelled like cigarettes even though it was non smoking. It’s def older and somewhat redone however, way overpriced. The room had a weird stench to it. The AC was cold however noisy. Also there doing lots of construction nearby which makes getting too and from the hotel a nightmare.

We expected a poor experience because this was the cheapest hotel available, but it was actually very nice!

The rooms were surprisingly modern and well appointed considering the price. There was clearly construction work happening in the compound but we weren’t inconvenienced

My stay at the hotel was a horrible experience, and to cap it off seeing the WARNING sign.

The only thing about the hotel that I liked was the location.

When I checked in, I was informed that my room wouldn’t be ready until after 3 PM, even though the hotel’s website states that check-in is at 3 PM. Additionally, there was a significant amount of construction going on at the hotel, which made the environment loud, dusty, and unpleasant. While waiting for my room, I used the pool area, but it was not enjoyable due to the ongoing noise and the dust and dirt from the construction. Once I got to my room, I experienced issues with the Wi-Fi—it was very slow and didn’t work properly. To make matters worse, on the morning of my checkout, I noticed a sign near the elevator stating: “WARNING – This facility contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Health and Safety Code Section 25249.6” This sign was not posted in a clearly visible area and seemed to be somewhat hidden. I hadn’t seen it the previous day because I had used the stairs instead of the elevator. I did not notice any similar warning signs in the lobby or other common areas. Had I seen this warning at check-in, I would not have chosen to stay at the hotel.

The new furnished rooms were nice the rooms get so hot if the a/c is not on at all times. did not know they were renovating at all.

A lot. The staff was so rude every one of them out of the 4 I spoke to. Was not away of renovations going on until getting there. They stated the pool and jacuzzi was open but when we went the jacuzzi was GREEN and the pool had huge wood shavings in it making it impossible to swim in.

Renovations in progress

Newly renovated room on one side, renovations in progress on the rest of the property. The new room was very comfortable and clean with a good sized mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Could use more storage. There's just a rack attached to 1 deep drawer. Beds queen and very comfy. Room smelled of paint and outgassing a bit so hopefully that will fade after a bit. I think it'll be great once it's all done. No breakfast offered. There's a good coffee shop with organic Peruvian coffee just around the corner and Mission Bay about 10 min walk. Fun local dive bars 1 mile up Clairemont Dr across from Sprouts. All in all a good stay for the price.

This list. First off this was remodeled, and we were their first guests . We were in number 3 which was right next to the office. People talking to the office personnel it was like the they were in our room it was so loud. The sink and bathtub backed up with yellow liquid. When I plugged in my charger it turned off the light in the living area. We asked for a discount for all the crazy inconveniences that we had. The lady in the front never smiled and didn’t even want to listen to what we said. She said you need to talk to the manager.. we have tried to contact the manager and never get any replies back. Overall, not a great experience, even after it was remodeled.
