One can feel the love that the managers, Ernst & Lia, give to the place! From the greeting on the tent to the packaging of the braai pack, to every interaction- wonderful! Great breakfast too!
It would have been great to have a patch of cement in front of the tent (other tents had it). More shade next to the pool would help on hot sunny days. Signage on the zebra hike missing.

The place would benefit from mosquito nets in the tents.

Great situation for dark skies.
It wasn’t for us. We knew it was going to be basic ( and it is!) and we had all the equipment we needed except there was NO LIGHT and we didn’t have one. Assumed an eco camp would have some solar light. A member of staff eventually found an old battery light. The ‘tent’ for sleeping is on the first floor at the top of a very steep and rickety stair/ladder. Unsafe for nights with no light. Save water signs everywhere but no plugs in the sinks. A running tap ( to wash self or dishes) uses 10 litres of water a minute. What a waste of water for an eco camp! We left after one night - shame because it is in a great location.
