About this villa rental
La Dimora artistica lies in Amalfi Coast; in one of the little hamlets of Amalfi Town. This is an ideal place for a relaxing stay.
This historic villa facing the sea has a stunning view that leaves its guests enchanted!
The villa hosts 5 apartments: Ametista, Opale, Zaffiro, Smeraldo and the charming dependance Acquamarina.
It is probably one of the most charming and panoramic villas in the whole Amalfi Coast. Built at the end of XIX century, stand out like a jewel in Pastena, a little hamlet of Amalfi.
After a recent restoration; now it has four wonderful flats and also a dependance and it paid attention not only at the conservation of the original areas but also at the protection of the privacy for all the guests.
The flats are different-sized and can host from 2 up to 8 guests each, to meet above all every requirement.
A wonderful lemon grove stand above the villa like a tiara; there is also a biological vegetable garden for the guests; also, the guests can use the well-equipped kitchens to have a dinner with a dream panorama.
Layout
Property with 5 levels: the ground floor at the street level, the mezzanine, the first floor with the main garden level and then the second and third floors.
The main entrance is at Street level; where there is also an elevator which allows the access to all the apartments.
On the Mezzanine level there are the Lounge, the Reception Office, and the Ametista apartment; while on the first floor there are Opale and Zaffiro apartments, as well as the main garden level. Also on this level, a panoramic balcony belongs to these two apartments.
Smeraldo, the biggest apartment, occupies the whole second floor; while at the third floor there is Acquamarina, the private dependance.
Furthermore, on the rooftop there is a sunbathing terrace with stunning views.
The 4 apartments, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms, guarantee privacy and tranquillity.
With furnishings, paintings and other decorations of the family, the idea was to recreate the atmosphere of an aristocratic house of the last century.
As result; a blend of elegance, contemporary light and colour, and tradition.
Outdoor areas
Grounds and gardens of Dimora Artistica are a part of the overall heritage of the property.
Aside from the main garden level (the “hanging garden”), there are seven terraces cultivated in citrus groves.
Only the four lower terraces are still intact, but stand as a testament to the culture of the Amalfi Coast Region and the relationship of its people to their land.

The house is beautiful and is well kept. We had some issues with ants on the floor and the 3rd level gets very hot on hot days, but the AC in the rooms helps some. The hosts provided us with information for boat rentals, private chef dinners, and private transfers around Amalfi Coast and to/from the airport. Communication was always quick and available. My family and I (16) had plenty of room for our 6 day stay!

Stayed in mid May 2024 for a week with 23 of us. The Villa was amazing and the views of Amalfi are incredible from every window. The location is perfect about a 20min walk into the downtown area of Amalfi. The host Francesca was very helpful and took care of us. The villa is actually 5 separate apartments and each apartment was very nice. The 5th apartment is separate from the main villa and up approx 100 stairs so should only be considered for those healthy enough to make the climb.
Highly recommend this villa to anyone considering that is looking for a villa to sleep a large number of people.
