Ocean View Apartment Playa Del Carmen

I was ill throughout my stay so spent a lot of my time in the apartment, and it was such a comfortable place, and it's large and well-quipped. The wifi works well. It's far enough from the main action of PdC so you don't get noise from bars. The owner was very helpful on WhatsApp, and Claudia on reception was super helpful with all sorts of things, including telling me where to find a doctor. The rooftop pool is terrific when the weather is warm enough. I liked the fact that there was a 20-litre water container, and it was raally cheap to replace. It was nice to have some warm water for the shower. I'd just spent a month having cold showers in El Salvador, so some warmth was welcome.

It's only a tiny complaint versus my overall stay, but it'd be really useful if the water dispenser were charged before arrival. When I got there, it didn’t work, and I assumed i didn't know how to operate it. It turned out It needed charging. It'd also be useful it people knew how the TV worked. When I arrived, neither the owner nor Claudia knew, but a guy came a couple of days later and showed me how to make it work. Simple once I knew how.

the location was near the beginning of a long tourist street that will allow you to walk all the way to the end so that is convenient. There are laundry services around the area and there is a great cafe at 2 min walk (Crisol). The apartment is spaceous and clean. There is a living room and a bedroom. The kitchen is sufficient. The hostess was so accomodating and kind. I really appreciate her openness. Don't forget to checkout the non-tourist beach at "Playa 88".

I found a rotten hamburger in one of the closest but that is really because of the last rude guest. Please check all the cabinets as I also found dirty cutlery. I also didn't know that there was no room service, it would have been nice to have it done once for a client that stays more than a week. (I stayed 8 days). There are dogs barking often in the night in the nieghborhood so bring earplus. Overall, it is a great apartment, so these are just minor details.
