La Bomboniera

We just loved everything about La Bomboniera. As we were travelling on the ferry from Napoli we got a message from Puerluigi. He guided us right to the door, and was there to greet us. The apartment is on the third floor of the building and it was very hot when we arrived. I was just preparing to carry our luggage upstairs when a hoist appeared and Pierluigi took care of it for us; fantastico! There is a perfect little supermarket about 10 minutes walk away which sells everything you are likely to need. The bus stop is only a couple of minutes away, to take you to Anacapri or Capri. The funicular is just as close. All of the boat trips, shops and restaurants are only a stones throw away. This apartment is just perfect, and we are so glad we found it.

We liked everything.

Check-in was very easy. The host was exceptionally kind. He helped us carry our luggage up and down (there are quite a few stairs). He promptly attended to our concerns when we had a problem with the shower's heating. It was wonderful! Furthermore, the apartment is beautiful, with a small but well-equipped kitchen, a living room with a TV, a great bathroom, and a bedroom with a balcony. The bedroom is the highlight, very beautiful, with a balcony offering breathtaking sea views. Just watch out for the seagulls. We went to have breakfast on the balcony and within 30 seconds of us leaving, a seagull came and took our breakfast haha The location is also great, close to the port and with several restaurant options. We loved this accommodation; it's romantic and comfortable.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The location is outstanding — right at Marina Grande, with direct beachfront access and stunning sea views that greet you the moment you step onto the terrace. Getting around could not be easier: the port, the bus stops for Capri and Anacapri, and the funicular up to Capri Town are all within immediate reach — a genuine advantage for exploring the island without effort. The terrace and balcony are genuinely exceptional: well furnished, open to the sea, and ideal for meals and quiet evenings outdoors. A motorized retractable awning provides effortless shade at the touch of a button — a thoughtful and very welcome addition. The apartment is spotless and feels recently renovated — modern, fresh, and very well maintained throughout. The room is spacious, with plenty of space for luggage. The host is attentive and responsive, meeting guests personally on arrival and going out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchenette is well equipped for self-catering, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Having a coffee machine is also very convenient. Free Wi-Fi is available and works reliably throughout the apartment. Soundproofed windows make for a surprisingly peaceful night's sleep, even given the marina setting.

The apartment is on the third floor with stairs only — there is no passenger lift. However, a Freight elevator is available to send luggage up, which removes the main inconvenience entirely. A microwave would be a welcome addition to the kitchenette. Its absence is a minor gap in an otherwise well-equipped space. The stools at the dining table are functional but lack comfort — more ergonomic seating would make a noticeable difference. A hand towel hook in the bathroom would be a small but practical improvement

The reason you book this apartment is definitely the view. It is breathtaking! The apartment is big enough, bright, spacious, air conditioning available. Pierluigi was very helpful, nice, explained everything.

The equipment of the apartment could be better for the money (one wine glass, worn cutlery). Also if you sleep in the "front room" if more than one of you comes, the door to the hallway cannot be darkened, which could be unpleasant for some, because direct light flows here.
