After visiting New Castle to see family for more than 30 years, I can honestly say this is the nicest place we've ever stayed. We've stayed in local hotels over the years, and none of them even come close to the experience we had at Hickory Lane House.From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the property. The home was absolutely immaculate, beautifully maintained, and so warm and inviting. The host, Diane, has truly thought of everything. The house was stocked with every amenity we could have needed, and then some, making our stay effortless and incredibly comfortable.You can tell how much care and attention has gone into creating an exceptional guest experience. Diane was also incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish.We will absolutely be back the next time we visit New Castle. If you're looking for a place to stay in the area, I can't recommend Hickory Lane House highly enough!

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Hickory Lane house. Our family has stayed there before and we’ve already booked a week next year for a wedding. The house wasso clean and they had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We love the outdoor deck and the walking trail.

Our family had the perfect little vacation at this wonderful, quite home!! Randy and Diane were perfect hosts with great communication! The kitchen was well supplied with all our needs. The deck, back yard and pond were a peaceful place to rest and relax. We visited two close by wild animal parks, both an easy drive. We also checked out some cute shops in Volant (a quick 8 minute drive) and the Outlets for some shopping. There were so many more things to check out in the area, but we enjoyed spending time at the house exploring trails through the woods on the property and spending time together. Highly recommend!Thank you Diane and Randy!

We had a fabulous stay at Hickory Lane House. It is very well stocked or outfitted, as my mother would say. I highly recommend this stay. Communication was clear and friendly and the house was immaculate.
