Charming home located in one of the best neighborhoods in Camden.
This lovely four-bedroom one bathroom home is a wonderful family home in a fantastic location. Easy 5-minute walk to the harbor, town, shops, and restaurants. Close to the state park and many hiking trails.
The first floor features a spacious living room, dining room, laundry/mudroom, and a kitchen with a vintage pantry overlooking a beautiful field.
The second floor features four comfortable bedrooms with roller/privacy shades, one full bath, and a clawfoot tub/shower. Large front porch and beautiful backyard.
Favorite things to do without getting in a car:
-Walk to Mt. Battie trailhead and hike up to the tower
-Hop on a bike and ride up beautiful Chestnut Street into Rockport harbor
-Stroll into town for a smoothie or an ice cream cone
-Take a picnic to Laite Beach
-Walk down Bay View Street to the lighthouse lookout trail for a secret view of Curtis Island lighthouse
-Walk to the farmers market on Saturday morning for a warm bialy, fresh local produce, and seafood

We absolutely loved it!!! The house had everything we needed and more. Easy walk to town. Owners were so lovely and kind. Very responsive! We loved our stay and hope to return. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Carrie's house was a great location for our month in Maine. It is easily walkable, well stocked and the yard was an added bonus for our kids. We would happily rent again.

I just love this house. It’s the way Maine used to be. There’s one bathroom, gorgeous wood floors, a beautiful yard for kids to run in, nice neighbors, a walk into town. We all dug in and made meals, and walked everywhere. The house has everything and yet hasn’t become the conspicuous consumption of our times. Simplicity is the greatest sophistication. We will be here again.
