Cosy, central Olinda Camellia Cottage

The thoughtfulness of meeting the needs for a holiday did not go unnoticed with every little detail truly thought of. Although we did not pay for breakfast - a hamper with a variety of breakfast materials were there. Very much appreciative of having the basic condiments required for cooking ie milk, juice, butter, salt'n'pepper, oil, foil glad wrap and the list goes on! Absolutely beautiful to walk in and be greeted with the heater on and the TV playing serene scenes from around the world. Having a guide on the table helped get a sense of the area and the hosts personel reccomendations made us feel very wholesome and part of the community. We also had our dog stay - small bowls and even a can of dog food was provided! If you love being amongst nature, this accomodation is for you! The shops are wwithin walking distance and also the Olinda Botanical garden - highly recommend. Very much looking forward to booking the Olinda Cammelia Cottage again.

I really couldn't fault anything. If I had to be picky, maybe have an extra blanket and/or electric blanket. The cottage gets very cosy quickly with the central heating but some areas of the cottage have hot and cold pockets. And maybe another oven proof dish/tray.

Quiet, secluded location. Thoughtful preparation of breakfast hamper.

Steep and unsealed drive way. Bed in 2nd BR v very uncomfortable.

It was good to have a few essentials.

The front door and front security door was squeaking.

2 separte bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen and had variety of coffee pods. They were so kind to provide oil, cling wrap, even bread and snacks - variety of pots and pans, colander and cooking utensis. This was so well thought out to make our stay comfrotable. There was great designed and cooling so even the bedrooms could be warmed or cold, not just the lounge. To have netflix and other streaming on the TV was amazing!

The second bedroom had bunk beds, great for kids but not so good for an adult. There were stairs leading down to the actual house which could be problem for older people to bring the luggage to the house - not for us though.
