The individual houses are very nice and large - probably the largest in the valley. Very nice mattress and linens. The bathrooms were also large with separate shower area and lots of hot water. Meals varied and we're all well prepared. Every meal had multiple choices and a vegetarian would have done just fine.
The termite eaten bathroom door frame was definitely a bummer to look at but goes with the territory I guess. One would call the overall experience no frills. Don't expect to be coddled and do your research about the park, birding and game drives.

Zebra Safari Lodge-Kidepo gave me an incredible safari experience with stunning views of Kidepo. The cottages are comfortable, cozy mattresses with private verandahs perfect for watching wildlife up close. The food was excellent, the staff are warm and helpful, and the hot shower after my game drive was a great comfort. Manager Brian you are doing a good job in your staff, will definitely return to spend more time during summer, rdgs, Andy
