A nice room with good bed and tea making facilities. Good shower room. Nice patio with wonderful view of the castle. A brilliant restaurant right next door. Made my whole experience.
As previous reviews. It’s half a mile UP a VERY steep hill if you at the end of the Via Francigena. NOT ideal, but. Weirdly you can’t open the window opposite the bed with the view. Don’t know why. As previous reviews breakfast is back DOWN the VERY steep hill in a caffe. I got a tiny cup of coffee despite asking for grande and a shot glass of water; I thought it was going to be grappa! If I hadn’t have asked I wouldn’t have got the slice of apricot tart. That was it!

La chambre spacieuse,une salle de bain agréable
Après un accueil bâclé ou l’hôtesse ne m’a même pas informé que l’eau était non potable , la nuit a été difficile en raison d’un lampadaire éclairé en permanence et proche de la fenêtre . Pour finir le petit déjeuner ( un thé et un croissant) se prend dans un bar ,au village, à quelques centaines de mètres de la chambre
