Beautiful Large Cabin Home 5 minutes from lake, beach. 10 minutes to Tamarak ski

Home was on a very quiet, private, Cul-de-sac, only one other home built and not ajacent. Very comfortable, cozy feel but spacious, and clean. We have two in our party allergic to animals, cigarette smoke, and pollen. Neither were sneezing or stuffy. Brand new back deck and very clean hot tub were a favorite. We did not use it but there was a huge fire pit and plenty of firewood. Stayed mid-July and temps were in the 80's but home kept comfortable with just fans, bonus second floor room was a little warmer but tollerable. Amenities included coffee for two pots, some creamer and sugar packets (thank you!), bathroom supplies, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, makup remover wipes. The only thing we really could not figure out was the iron, we came for a wedding and no way to get the wrinkles out. So bring a steamer or iron. Our food packing list included or should have included, one gallon of water per day, bag of ice, coffee and fixins, breakfast items, roll of paper towels, napkins, paper plates, and a box of kleenex. The local convenience store gas station Stinker Eats really had a great selection of fresh items for lunches. Once you land you wont want to leave, it is that relaxing and plenty of amusement or just quiet space to read, etc. Also this gardener loved the no fuss, wild landscape. The Roost and Ivorys Donuts were the only places we ate at, both were 3.75/5 for food, 5/5 for friendly. Oh and the coffee pot was a basket drip pot or keurig pod single.

Great property and great location.

Seven of us stayed for a family reunion. House was comfortable and beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the deck in the evenings. We would rent again.

Great house has some issues and when you are traveling with kids they can be scary. We reached out to the owner through the app and haven’t heard anything. 1. Carpenter ant infestation 2. Smell in master bedroom, carpet looks like it has urine stains by the main door. 3. No hose for fire pit - directions say fir must be put out with water and hose is provided 4. Upstairs bedroom missing face plate on electrical outlet 5. Back doors doesnt lock, held closed by a rope wrapped around the handle. 6. Front door lock battery dead so can’t enter through there 7. We never received the code we had to call the owner. 8. Garbage can in kitchen broken 9. Speakers don’t work out back 10. No hair dryer 11. Underwear on shelf in guest bedroom
