Well-located, dog-friendly home - walk to footbridge & Barrett Park

The location had its pros and cons. We like the quiet ligation, and the folks above us we never heard any sounds from them. It was clean, and we felt safe. We liked having so many amenities, especially in the kitchen. It was great to have our car parked right outside our door. From what I read on previous reviews, I’m glad the a/c was added to the master bedroom. Even though the walk was longer for us than we had hoped, it was good to be that close and an easy drive to the harbor.

The walk to the harbor was longer than we thought it would be. The couches were very uncomfortable. The cushions had no support, and went completely flat when sat on. It made sitting on either of them sitting only inches off the floor. For old people like my wife and I it made getting off the very difficult. I used almost all the pillows in the LR to build up the bottom cushions for more support and to be higher off the floor. This reason alone will keep us from returning there or recommending using this facility to anyone else. We’ve seen better couches at a thrift store, Goodwell, or Retore. For low cost. One bath is fine for my wife and I. But this has beds for up to six people. It would be inconvenient for several people these days. The runner rug in the LR was a tripping hazard. No rubber backing and it kept having a big wrinkle in it that could cause a trip and fall. I rolled it up and put it aside because of this.

Great price point! Perfect location! Super clean & cozy! Very spacious rooms. Hangers in the closets. Has a grill, has shampoo, conditioner & body soap in the bathroom; Blow dryers under the sink. Has an iron. It really felt like home! There wasn't a long list of things that had to be done before departure. Staff returned messages promptly and were very pleasant. If ever in the area again I would definitely stay here again.

Close to walking bridge to get in town, yet set back so peaceful and quite

Pillows very flat and house keeping needs to clean corners , spiders & webs on most ceiling corners. Otherwise place clean and very nice

The location is amazing. It’s a cozy house. Even with just one window ac the place stays cool. To have a grill and outdoor space is really nice as well.

Not being able to use the washer and dryer, I didn’t realize how hard that would be for a week long trip with kids. The smell of moth balls was so overwhelming that even having the windows open didn’t help. The people upstairs were mostly undetectable expect for one night which made it hard for all us to fall asleep. The fact this house is not completely private with no amenities, the price per night should not be in the same range to the other places trying to charge $500 a night. It isn’t worth it.
