I liked that it wasn't in the busy part of town. It was a really nice place.

There are trains but like they said the trains never blow their horn. It's not that bad never had any issues with the sound.

The host was fantastic and even had a list of places to eat and things to do nearby! Laundry and kitchen was top tier and the bathroom/shower was really nice too! Beds were comfortable and there was even extra pillows/bedding in the closet if we needed them.

No cons to this booking

The property was spacious, clean, and exceptionally well equipped. Everything was ready for our arrival and we didn’t miss anything during our brief stay.

I suppose the area isn’t very pretty but it’s quite nearby to the French Quarter, which is where you wanna be!

Despite arriving at 10 pm, Sharon was there to meet us and brief us as to the facilities. She then left us alone for the duration of the stay, but since she lived on the premises, she was on hand to assist at short notice. The apartment was well-appointed and comfortable. The trains can occasionally disturb sleep but are quieter than expected and a pair of earplugs solves the problem entirely. It takes half an hour to walk into the downtown and French Quarter through a rather run-down but safe area. We usually got an Uber back from town at night. We would stay here again.
