The Little Cottage

We entered the property and immediately felt at home! It was very cosy and despite being tiny had (nearly) all the facilities we needed. It was very clean and that helped a lot. On top of it a very comfortable kitchen (we planned to cook by ourselves) including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The landlord was very discrete and welcoming and would help if need of anything - which was not the case at all. Telly with all programs and a coffee table full of games - we enjoyed the evenings there,

The property is not ideally located - though the price reflect this. No facilities (pub, store, restaurant, ...) at walking distance. Equally so it's located on the main road and quite noisy especially if you have to sleep with open windows.

Location great, close to town and shops. Very clean and comfortable. Keys easy to pick up.

One Parking spot, which. was a bit small might be a problem if going there in 2 vehicles (unlikely)

Ideal location for visits to the beach and west dorset attractions. Secure parking and access to the host for queries.All the furniture, bedding and fittings are in tiptop condition and great for us two.

Some lighting above/near the table would have helped, but did not distract from the high standard of the layout. The road noise was high for us but we come from a very quiet area.
